Frank Field was a hit for me, I'd like to have Frank Caprio on the sub bench. I think S-G Eriksson moves into my main team.

Two of the five horses that bolted in London yesterday are in a serious condition - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-68895233 Nowt on the state of the other three, so I guess their condition is "stable" (arf!)

Thankfully the brilliant @Death Impends seems to have found the root cause and resolved the issue. Before Iwas able to get back on forum and post I was beginning to fear I was locked out permanently with no way to contact or appeal/plead my case. I was even starting to wonder if I'd accident posted a picture of a hunky man in Speedos or something on the wrong Internet page whilst daydreaming and had encountered the full wrath of the moderators! Fortunately not. -
Ian Anderson as new sub please

Almost certainly something to do with your whereabouts. A while ago when I looked up deathlist at my place of work, I found I was banned. Still no idea why, so it’s not a members thing. There’s always the possibility you were at a location that was previously banned. -
Dead on Wiki too - which helpfully has a list of his songs as recorded by the Moodies, that'll make it easier for any cult radio show that just happens to have an annual List of the Lost edition on the first weekend of the New Year!

I'm not suggesting anyone's anonymity should be waived. It's not a breach of anonymity if somebody who already knows his identity checks on the GRO index (it's fairly easy to explain how to do this if they don't know) and gives a yes/no. It's entirely possible nobody knows his identity, but I'd wager that somebody does and I think it's much better to simply put this discussion to bed than it is to idly speculate. -

Surprised to find that former Gerald Ford and Ronald Reagan campaign manager Stu Spencer is still alive at 97. -
Abdullah Badawi hospitalised in ICU with respiratory failure . Of course, despite being wheelchair-bound advanced dementia sufferer, he is in good condition and not in danger.

A very impressive list. One has to say those born in the 1940s and beyond are generally holding up pretty well, so far. Does anyone know if Leonard Preston (who was the main star of one of the more memorable Tales of the Unexpected Episodes) but doesn't appear to be on your list is still alive? He appears to be born in 1954 but very little public information available perhaps due to this https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/4425580

Anders Celsius died on this day 280 years ago, aged 42. - Celsius' family was full of scientists- his uncle Olof was a botanist, his paternal grandfather Magnus was a mathematician, and his maternal grandfather Anders Spole was an astronomer. His father Nils was also a professor of astronomy at Uppsala University, which he would attend- and also became an astronomy professor there in 1730. - Celsius had several feats in the realm of astronomy: he was the first person to link auroras with changes in the Earth's magnetic field (based on observations within a compass), and he participated in an expedition that proved the world was an ellipsoid and not a perfect sphere. - Celsius was most famous for his temperature scale, centigrade, which he proposed in 1742. It is now the dominant temperature scale in the world (three countries use Fahrenheit instead), and Celsius' name has been used interchangeably with 'centigrade'. - Celsius' young death was caused by a bout of tuberculosis.
