WWII veteran LT Eugeniusz Jan Niedzielski was awarded, as a sign of gratitude of the people of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Medal of Remembrance "Thank You Liberators 1945" for his contribution to the liberation of the Netherlands in 1944-1945.
