We are deeply saddened to announce that the wonderful novelist Mavis Cheek, @MavisCheekbooks has died after a long illness. We all will miss her spontaneous wit, wisdom, spirit and courage, not to mention hilarious comic timing. We all feel lucky to have had her in our lives.
