Basics: Pick a team of 21 people. The higher their rank, the more points they get when they die and obit. Submit it to me via PM or on this thread, by the end of April. Scoring System: 1st pick: 500 points 2nd pick: 450 points 3rd pick: 400 points 4th pick: 350 points 5th pick: 300 points 6th pick: 275 points 7th pick: 250 points 8th pick: 225 points 9th pick: 200 points 10th pick: 180 points 11th pick: 160 points 12th pick: 140 points 13th pick: 120 points 14th pick: 100 points 15th pick: 85 points 16th pick: 70 points 17th pick: 55 points 18th pick: 50 points 19th pick: 45 points 20th pick: 40 points 21st pick: 21 points As you can see the margin slowly decreases from 500 -450 etc until the 21st pick. For example if Tom Cruise Nephew/Brother/Dad etc. Bob Cruise was a Gaffer,Best Boy,Photgrapher/Hairdresser/Caterer or had a Vanity Producers Credit on a Mission Impossible Behind The Scenes Doc on IMDb that still not a high enough bar even if they get a DailyMail copypasta .Those specific behind the scenes industry occupations never are noted unless they are related to someone famous. However if a Bob Cruise has professional acting/writing etc credits where they may land an Obit even if they were related to nobody famous then they are acceptable. Any questions just ask Duration: The competition lasts from May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025 Get your team in before Big Ben welcomes the month of May. Lord Byron died on this day 200 years ago, aged 36. - Byron's first name was George. He gained his "lord" title when he was 10 upon the death of his great-uncle William Byron- specifically, he was a baron. - One of Byron's earlier works, his poetry book Hours of Idleness, received scathing reviews from the Edinburgh Review; as such Byron would write the satirical piece English Bards and Scotch Reviewers anonymously in 1809, the same year he entered the House of Lords. - Byron's breakout book was 1812's Childe Harold's Pilgrimage, which Byron personally did not believe would sell well. From there, he became a star of Romantic era novels, which included The Giaour, The Bride of Abydos, and The Siege of Corinth. Equally successful was his Hebrew Melodies collection of poems from 1815, which were lyrics Byron wrote to accompany music composed by Jewish composer Isaac Nathan. - Byron would leave England in 1816 due to his split from his wife, and rumors that he had an incestuous affair with his half-sister. He first went to Switzerland (where he befriended Percy and Mary Shelley), then to Italy the following year. - In 1823, he decided to assist Greece in their war of independence against the Ottoman Empire, because he wanted a life of adventure. He would use his own money to supply his own legion of troops. Byron did not die in battle- rather, he fell sick, and his condition was exacerbated due to how much blood was drained from his body (due to bloodletting). - Byron's daughter and only legitimate child was Ada Lovelace.

I'm undecided. I'll probably go back to lurking once my muse is gone.

Firstly, the king doesn't have "a" surgeon as such. Secondly, anything I've pinged to mango via DM is a false flag. I'm not about to give him any real details as he's a stranger on the internet at the end of the day. And he's just proven me correct to do so by blurting it out on here. I don't trust anyone on here. Journalist was true, but I wouldn't narrow it down beyond that, and I wouldn't give hints to who their source was.

This reminded me of the poem "Warning" by Jenny Joseph: When I am an old woman, I shall wear purple With a red hat that doesn’t go, and doesn’t suit me. And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves And satin candles, and say we’ve no money for butter. I shall sit down on the pavement when I am tired And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells And run my stick along the public railings And make up for the sobriety of my youth. I shall go out in my slippers in the rain And pick the flowers in other people’s gardens And learn to spit. You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat And eat three pounds of sausages at a go Or only bread and pickles for a week And hoard pens and pencils and beer nuts and things in boxes. But now we must have clothes that keep us dry And pay our rent and not swear in the street And set a good example for the children. We must have friends to dinner and read the papers. But maybe I ought to practise a little now? So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple.

It was the only one left I couldn't remember, so listened the other night and then I did. And I'm now frustrated I didn't vote a couple of hours ago and put it out of its misery because it's not one of the 4 best here IMHO, so I'd have got rid of it. Also, voting on it based on the original rather than the remix is slightly disingenuous as that's not what got to #1. Anyway, my votes! 18/4/24 71 Jeff Buckley — Hallelujah 37 La Roux — In For The Kill 37 James Morrison ft. Nelly Furtado — Broken Strings 35 Jay-Z ft. I wouldn't exactly trust Dalgleish to be impartial on this issue, during the height of the pandemic he lobbied for certain companies to be given contracts for the vaccine whilst holding shares in those companies plus he has repeatedly claimed that organisations that have disagreed with him are controlled by China, to the extent where he tried to get the UK government to spy on certain scientific organisations. Bearing in mind, he has also previously worked with right-wing lobbying groups and was a UKIP parliamentary candidate in 2015, I would say he would be very biased. Plus John Campell has a reputation for spreading misinformation on his Youtube channel, and would never be my go to source. It's one very complex, multifaceted theory, something that hasn't properly been disproven but also hasn't been 100% confirmed, and within that theory there are disagreements on if it was accidental or not, the intentions behind it and collaborators.

Really ? I had never heard of her before. Her filmography is very inconsistent. Her wiki page says "She is most known for her 1991 documentary film Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse as well as other documentaries chronicling the films of her husband and children." So she is "famous" for having made documentaries on… her family’s work ? Big deal ! At least Bobby Brown had a career of his own before marrying Whitney.

Identical twins no longer identical after the astronaut brother returns from extended stay in space. 7% of his genes have changed permanently, including those related to the immune system and DNA repair. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-03-15/twins-separated-by-outer-space-no-longer-identical/9553134 Could have very interesting long term implications for any astronaut or cosmonaut who has spent a long time up in Mir or the ISS in the past.
