“The only living Democratic president who will not be in New York for the fundraiser is 99-year-old Jimmy Carter. A spokeswoman for Carter confirmed that he remains in home hospice care and is not making any public statements.” For those that don’t want to dig through the article about Biden for brief mention of Carter.

Performed the tradition of washing feet the Thursday before Easter. Apparently this year was a big deal because it was the first time that only women’s feet were washed.

What are these arbitrary honours handed out? Not an official birthday, new year or resignation. You can imagine the conversation. "Oi, Your Majesty, I know you are ill and all...but I've decided to give my Tory colleagues and a huuuuuge donor to my party Knighthoods and Damehoods". "Ah Rishi, I'm just nipping out for some chemo..." "Ah wait, what if I sweeten the pot with Christopher Nolan and his missus?" "Ask Camilla, I really am busy, I'll sign anything when I get back." "Oi Camilla, how about this list then? Look, I've included the Nolans." "Oh I love I'm In The Mood For Dancing." signs off.

He was doctor with whom Chrissie Rogers character has an affair. I don't think he was in it that long but his character stood out to me for some reason, probably because I really hated Frank Rogers. Edit - Character's name was Dr O'Rourke.

I know him best from Brookside and various radio dramas. I heard rumours of ill health but wasn't sure how reliable that information was.

Just added Terry-Thomas to the list. Not somebody who I ever in a million years thought would have a living spouse!

Ma Shitu (1915-2024) "No birthday party? And where the hell do I get my cake?" (Wang Huo reacts to the death of his eternal friend) "Tsk, tsk, not everyone has what it takes to be a king" (King Jimmy I) "T...th...this does mean I can die too?" (Zhang Lixiong) Age at death: 109 Known health issues: Terminal lung cancer in 2003, lung cancer and skin cancer in 2019, frail and hospitalised multiple times in 2020, severe COVID in 2023. Cause of death: autopsy pending. Alignment: Jovial writer who fled from the Kuomintang in the early 40s, and his wife was killed. Hugely popular in his later years, when his story Let the Bullets Fly was adapted into a popular (in Mainland China) movie, Ma Shitu was able to stand and exercise until the end so his demise was still kind of unexpected. Ma Shitu would become king of Immortals after Jimmy's death, but apparently not for this life.

Before I get on with the actual updates, I've got one more stats post for you. First of all, here's the average points per team each celebrity received: 1 Joe Biden 21.70 2 Donald Trump 20.54 3 Michael J. Fox 18.72 4 Andy Taylor 17.40 5 Billy Connolly 15.81 6 Clint Eastwood 15.75 7 William Shatner 15.44 8 Ozzy Osbourne 15.32 9 Buzz Aldrin 14.05 10 Janey Godley 13.91 11 Phil Collins 13.07 12 Bruce Willis 12.40 13 Dick van Dyke 11.77 14 Robert Wagner 10.47 15 Prunella Scales 9.37 16 Pope Francis 9.19 16 Rupert Murdoch 9.19 18 David Attenborough 8.19 19 Willie Nelson 7.93 20 Mel Brooks 7.32 21 Tim Bilton 6.60 22 Toby Keith 6.05 23 Yoko Ono 4.51 24 Dave Myers 4.09 25 Erik Jensen 3.86 26 Shannen Doherty 3.53 27 Linda Nolan 3.21 28 Paul Spencer 2.58 29 Cleo Laine 2.47 30 Denis Law 2.12 31 Bob Newhart 1.96 32 Dennis Skinner 1.93 33 Patrick Murray 1.77 34 Roberta Flack 1.58 35 Eva Marie Saint 1.44 36 Theo Burrell 1.35 37 Stanley Baxter 1.23 38 Frank Caprio 1.19 38 Frank Field 0.77 40 June Spencer 0.70 41 Esther Rantzen 0.68 42 James Whale 0.65 43 Michael Tilson Thomas 0.63 44 Rob Burrow 0.61 45 Joanne Woodward 0.51 46 Nigel Starmer-Smith 0.49 47 (Wildlife) Simon Cowell 0.47 48 Jonnie Irwin 0.28 49 Noam Chomsky 0.14 50 Jimmy Carter 0.02 51 Steve McMichael 0.00 Using these numbers, I've calculated all of your most outlying opinions. In the table below is an alphabetical list of Inverse Dead Pool 2024 players. Next to each player, there are two celebrities, each with two numbers in brackets – the first number is the number of points the player has assigned that celebrity, and the second number is the gap between that number and the celebrity's average points value. The celebrity on the left is the celebrity whose points from that player are farthest ABOVE the celebrity's average points value (i.e. the celebrity whose survival that player is most disproportionately invested in). The celebrity on the right is the celebrity whose points (or lack thereof) from that player are farthest BELOW the celebrity's average points value (i.e. the celebrity whose death would probably be most beneficial to that player). Afternoon all, I haven't posted much as of late, but have been kept entertained by the debates. I would like to suggest Gordon Brown, PM-in-waiting, current Chancellor of the Exchequer. Why, I hear you ask? Well...perhaps it's just a feeling, but Scottish politicians have a habit of wilting under pressure. James Gordon Brown, as he was Christened, is 55-years-old and will soon, it seems, be moving into one of the more stressful of jobs with the media against him, as it seems the Fourth Estate want to destroy Blair's creation. He has one eye, due to a rugby accident as a child, although that might not make any difference. Just throwing the name up, any thoughts or have I lost it again?

This one is pretty surprising if true... Sylvia Peterson of The Chiffons died on July 28, 2023 (aged 76) according to the group's Wiki page. One-time lead singer of the group, she had left by the late 60s and took up a regular 9 to 5 job. Sung on their biggest hits "One Fine Day", "Sweet Talkin' Guy" and "He's So Fine". Can anyone find an obit? Or even a mention on Facebook or Twitter etc that looks credible?
