Almost certainly something to do with your whereabouts. A while ago when I looked up deathlist at my place of work, I found I was banned. Still no idea why, so it’s not a members thing. There’s always the possibility you were at a location that was previously banned.

A very impressive list. One has to say those born in the 1940s and beyond are generally holding up pretty well, so far. Does anyone know if Leonard Preston (who was the main star of one of the more memorable Tales of the Unexpected Episodes) but doesn't appear to be on your list is still alive? He appears to be born in 1954 but very little public information available perhaps due to this https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/4425580

Ah, April. As the weather gets warmer, the DDP hits get fewer. But - not to fret - as the Windy City Deadpool is here to save us all from a summer of deadpooling boredom! Basics: Pick a team of 21 people. The higher their rank, the more points they get when they die and obit. Submit it to me via PM or on this thread, by the end of April. Scoring System: 1st pick: 500 points 2nd pick: 450 points 3rd pick: 400 points 4th pick: 350 points 5th pick: 300 points 6th pick: 275 points 7th pick: 250 points 8th pick: 225 points 9th pick: 200 points 10th pick: 180 points 11th pick: 160 points 12th pick: 140 points 13th pick: 120 points 14th pick: 100 points 15th pick: 85 points 16th pick: 70 points 17th pick: 55 points 18th pick: 50 points 19th pick: 45 points 20th pick: 40 points 21st pick: 21 points As you can see the margin slowly decreases from 500 -450 etc until the 21st pick. For example if Tom Cruise Nephew/Brother/Dad etc. Bob Cruise was a Gaffer,Best Boy,Photgrapher/Hairdresser/Caterer or had a Vanity Producers Credit on a Mission Impossible Behind The Scenes Doc on IMDb that still not a high enough bar even if they get a DailyMail copypasta .Those specific behind the scenes industry occupations never are noted unless they are related to someone famous. However if a Bob Cruise has professional acting/writing etc credits where they may land an Obit even if they were related to nobody famous then they are acceptable. Some people here don't wish to reveal details of their life outwith the forum. We all start off with blank profiles, and if you choose to waive your anonymity, that's on you. I'm not such an enigma; a few members would hear about my tragic bidet accident on social media and update you all.

Oh my God you are a bloody angel!! Just tried my pc and mobile with wifi on and I can access everything 1000% fine! Thank you SO MUCH I could kiss you!!! I know you rightly cannot give me details but it sounds like there must be an ex deathlister in my neighbourhood for that to happen(unless it's based on number/codes rather than location?) But regardless thanks again I'm really grateful virtual kiss kiss kiss kiss and friendly virtual hug! Oh typed my reply only after reading first line as was eager to act so I see it was code related rather than location. Much appreciated.

I removed the ban on the IP that I think was the root of your issue. It was one where an asterisk was used after the first five digits so that would've banned a wide range of IPs. Try again.

(The artist formerly known as) Prince died on this day 8 years ago, aged 57. - Prince was indeed his real first name- he was named after his father John's stage name 'Prince Rogers'. Prince did not like his name- and preferred the nickname 'Skipper'. - Prince's first musical act was in the band of his cousin's husband, called 94 East: - Prince's debut single was 1978's "Soft and Wet", and he would immediately end up on the charts- number 92 on the Billboard Hot 100. - Prince's song "Darling Nikki" inadvertently led to the creation of the Parental Advisory label on albums, when Al Gore's wife saw their daughter dancing to the song. - Prince was the original singer of "Nothing Compares 2 U", composed in 1985: - Prince was one of the few musicians to outright deny Weird Al permission to parody their songs, and Weird Al stated Prince was the only one to not give an explanation as to why. - Despite being associated with the color purple, Prince's favorite color was actually orange. - Prince's cremated remains were put into a custom 3D-printed urn shaped like his mansion, Paisley Park:

As Dead as I Once Was 4/50 5th February 2024 Country icon Toby Keith has died aged 62 from stomach cancer. Keith’s career in country music started in 1993 when he released his first, self-titled, album that reached no.17 on the US country charts, with his single ‘Should’ve been a Cowboy’ reaching no.1 on the country charts and going 3 times platinum. In 2002 his seventh studio album ‘Unleashed’ became his first no.1 album on the regular US Billboard charts, a feat he achieved a further 3 times throughout his career. On the US country charts, in total Keith achieved 20 no.1 singles and 9 no.1 albums. A multi-talented man, he sometimes ventured into acting, opened his own chain of restaurants called ‘Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill’ and was a staunch supporter of the US Republican Party. In 2022 Keith announced that he had been diagnosed with stomach cancer towards the end of the previous year and was undergoing treatment. Following his passing for the disease in February, Keith has been posthumously inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. He was making his first appearance on the Crowdsourced Deathlist, at no.28.

A Place in the Ground 3/50 2nd February 2024 Longtime TV presenter Jonnie Irwin has died aged 50 after a 4 year long battle with cancer. Irwin’s TV career started in 2004 when he landed the role of co-presenter on Channel 4’s A Place in the Sun and filmed 100s of episodes for the programme until he was fired in 2021, he claims that they had sacked him due to his illness. His other most well known presenting gig was on BBC’s Escape to the Country, which he worked on starting in 2010. In 2020 Irwin was diagnosed with lung cancer and reportedly was given 6 months to live. In 2022 he went public with this information, reiterating that he hasn’t got long left. However to every deathlisters delight he continued to confound the odds and spent every waking moment talking to the press about how he wasn’t going to see Christmas (he never said which one). At the end of January he spent a week in hospital and was sent home on the 27th, where he died the following week. He was making his second appearance on the Crowdsourced deathlist, this year at no.10.

Dead Kaiser 2/50 7th January 2024 Franz ‘der Kaiser’ Beckenbauer, who has died aged 78, was often cited as one of the greatest footballers of all time. Aged 14 he was signed for the Bayern Munich youth team and was eventually promoted to the main team in 1964. The same year he was signed to the West German national team’s youth squad and was quickly promoted to the main team in 1965. He played as a central midfielder in the 1966 World Cup final against England, a match that England famously won. In the 1970 quarter-finals, Beckenbauer was one of three German players to score and beat the England squad, however West Germany was knocked out by Italy in the semis and placed 3rd, beating Uruguay in the play off. By 1974 he was the captain of the national team and led his country into the World Cup, where they beat the Netherlands 2-1 in the final. He hung up his boots in 1983 and began managing the national team the following year, a role he held until 1990. In the lead up to the 2006 World Cup he helped Germany’s successful bid to host, which caused him to be investigated for fraud in 2016. Throughout 2023 reports of his failing health circulated that lasted up until his death. He was making his first appearance on the Crowdsourced Deathlist, at no.25.

Put an end to her Suffering-gette 1/50 4th January 2024 Oscar nominated actress Glynis Johns died just under two months after turning 100. Best remembered for her role in Disney’s classic film ‘Mary Poppins’ in which she portrayed suffragette Winifred Banks, the mother of the central family, Johns’ career spanned across seven decades and earned her many awards and nominations. She won her first award in 1942 for Michael Powell’s ‘49th Parallel’, was nominated for best supporting actress at the 33rd Academy Awards for her role in The Sundowners (but lost to Shirley Jones), won a Tony Award in 1973 for Stephen Sondheim’s ‘A Little Night Music’ and in 1998 was granted Disney Legend status alongside Poppins co-star Dick van Dyke. Johns’ last appeared on stage in 1998 and onscreen in 1999, retiring from acting aged 76. In recent years most conversations about Johns haven’t revolved around her long career, rather they have focused on her longevity. She outlived all four of her husbands by 14 to 46 years and one of her children. In 2020 she became the oldest living Academy Award nominee for acting. She turned 100 in October 2023, with many calling for her to receive a damehood for her services to acting, something which alas was unable to happen. She was making her 8th appearance on the Crowdsourced Deathlist, this year at no.3.
