NOT DEAD. I'm not Thatcher or tracy. Hackman made a new public appearance and based on the photos he looks to have physically declined in the past 12 months which wouldn't be that surprising. He's 94, after all.

Those photos could easily go in the thread devoted to last image before death. Sad to say, 2025 seems like a long shot.

First time I've thought this: he has to go on my list next year if he makes it. He's looking VERY gaunt now. In those pics of him coming out of the convenience store, look at his right arm below the elbow. It's like skeletal. And the discoloration not only on his hands/wrists/arms but his face too. I suppose it's good that he can still stand on his own, albeit with the cane and his wife's assistance coming down those steps at the restaurant, but he does not look like a healthy person here, not even at his age. But I know, he's 94. He's alive and that's better than the alternative, I suppose, as long as he's not suffering.

He's been dead 44 years. He won't say much at all. Out of interest, why do you go straight to "divorcee" ?

Had no idea what your first bit referred to having not seen the film - saw it last night. Enjoyed it very much, a melancholy little tale though. Agree, must have been a contact lens, I was trying to wrack my brains wondering if I'd never noticed that Paul Giamatti had such a severe lazy eye. My friend confirmed not. I saw Downsizing at the cinema a few years ago - was not very impressed. It looked good from the trailer but fell somewhat flat. This was much better. Not seen the other 2, although I am aware of Election.
