3 pointsIt is 30 April, day 121 of 366 this year, almost one third through the year (exactly one third is tomorrow). The DDP stands at 121 hits, and has maintained a hit rate of >1 hit/day until today when it is exactly 1 hit/day. This is an impressive first third of the year. Are the May doldrums ahead? All other years have had them, except for 2023.

2 pointsThose who didn't know this for sure probably guessed as much. And those who were around on the forums while Cat was will know he was indeed a 'delightful gentleman' as his doctor's letter said. He'll always be a forum legend here. Rest up old fella, and thanks for sharing many a laugh (and flight) with us.

1 pointNot sure if Kenneth Baker counts (Minister of State for Industry from 1981) but he's still doing interviews in support of Rishi Sunak

1 pointSaw this last night in the Times. His attendance is still great for his age so I’m not sure. He’s the longest serving member of the House. Joined in 1962.

1 pointEvery wedding in the series is great. The dream sequence where she's marrying David and Sean Bean saves her is brilliant ("Come on lass") and the woman accusing Hugo of bigamy is just incredible ("oops, sorry! Wrong church!")

1 pointIf he's still alive in 2025, which is very possible because cancers at this old age can be slow, he would be a serious good name for the official deathlist !

1 pointBeen at the Cliffs Pavilion in Sarfend for Romesh Ranganathan. Loads of hip hop bangers from Martin2Smoove in the build up and during the interval were a really nice touch. As for the comedy, I’m privileged to have been to more stand up gigs than I can count; highlights include Bill, Jo, Dara, the late Sean Lock…I can honestly say I’ve never laughed harder and more frequently at any other show than I did at this one. Absolutely incredible.

1 pointGrave is the Best Receptacle American country star Toby Keith, known for hits such as "American Soldier", "American Ride", "Made in America", "Drunk Americans", "Happy Birthday America", "America the Beautiful", "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)", and "Live Introduction by Toby of Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)", has died of Americancer at the age of America. An Inverse Dead Pool 2024 debutante, he was a natural fit among some familiar faces, including Donald Trump, for whom he performed at the "Make America Great Again! Welcome Celebration"; Willie Nelson, with whom he recorded the song "Beer for My Horses" and starred in the film "Beer for My Horses"; and Janey Godley, with whom he feuded during her spell in the Dixie Chicks. So who shouldn't've picked a cowboy? Players were almost evenly split between Toby or Not Toby – a divide in attitudes between "well, he's still performing" and "yeah, but looking like that". Among those on the losing side of that divide are 2023 Inverse Dead Pool champion @tracy, who gains 9 points – which, sadly, is 8 more than their 2023 winning score – and returning 2022 Inverse Dead Pool champion @YorkshireBanker, who gains 19 points – which, happily, is 8 less than their 2022 winning score. In fact, all of last year's top 5 have points raining down on them: @LizLemon (6 points), @Perhaps (3), @diego (17), and @gcreptile, who gets the biggest boot in the ass of all – 23 points, and my mum's last place spot. 1 point@mymango I have stayed silent long enough but you really are an irritating moron. @TQR, @Ulitzer95 and so many others on here are incredibly insightful and do a tremendous job for this forum. You should take you and your facepalms elsewhere and let genuine people carry on enjoying this website how it is intended to be enjoyed.

1 pointIt would be a bit silly (but this is Rishi we're talking about, so not entirely implausible) if he didn't. "Mr. Sunak, when is the election going to be?" "Oh, it was last week, I'm just not announcing it yet."
