If Wings* didn't do it for you, The Frog chorus should definitely have done it. *Wings...The Band the Beatles could have been. I am going to ride to the defence of Paul McCartney. With Wings Paul was doing what he wanted to do - make music with people he liked. He made more money from Wings than he ever did from the Beatles and they had some notable successes - Band on the Run, Mull of Kintyre etc. The question that needs to be asked is What would the Beatles have been without Paul McCartney? - John Lennon and George Harrison did not make music which was as accessible as Paul did. We have gone a bit off topic and I think it is my fault!! I grew up near the Mull, and at the age of 10??? I could cheerfully have strangled him myself when he released that damn song. His bloody farm is 15/20 odd miles away so no chance he could see 'mist rolling in from the sea', and the video was filmed near Carradale so that was bollox too...........rant over!
