Suriname is part of South America, but I doubt many Surinamese identify as Americans. I've been told Damnyankee is both precise and widely accepted. regards, Hein Your average Surinamese may not identify themselves as being American but it doesn't alter the fact that they are, by virtue of the geography. Similarly, the average Daily Mail reader may not identify themselves as being European....

Was he the Worlds worst husband? Compared to who? Josef Fritzel? Like i said, he is a child, he has tantrums, he misbehaves and he married somebody that knew all of that all too well but the smell of fame and money won the day. As a player he may have been a liability but what a liability!! I dont know many football supporters of any club persuasion who wouldnt happily have walked a fuggin long way and happily paid to go and watch Gazza. Thats the thing, you want a bit of passion, excitement, genius and brilliance or do you want 90mins of Scotty Parker? I think the days of mental illness "is yer own fuggin fault" have long, long gone. The child needs some open arms to run in to. Now that made me laugh! And I can categorically state that Gazza was not the world's worst husband, because that accolade goes to the massive twat I was married to for ten years. I don't know much about football, but I know that I enjoyed watching him and he was fucking good, and he at least had a bit of a personality, not like the fucking long-haired, over-paid gaylords of today. It's just a shame he has not been able to overcome whatever issues he has - being mental is no fun, you know. We've all had a bit of a laugh I'm sure, self included, at his daft rantings and made loads of Red Bull/fishing rod jokes, but it's actually all terribly sad. I'd put him on my list, and I'd take the points, but I wouldn't enjoy it.

Well I had two bacon sandwiches, half a massive pack of crisps, half a litre of orange juice, a bottle of lucozade and another pack of crisps, and felt a little better.

I hope he doesnt. He got royally fucked over by his Ex wife, slagged off by his step daughter who STILL uses his surname to "get on" and all he ever wanted was to play football. He is a child in a mans body and he has been shat on left right and centre by people that should have known better.

Hmmm, user with American username in AMERICA IS THE CENTRE OF THE WORLD shocker. If we are entirely objective, Nguyen Khanh, the former Head of State and Prime Minister of Vietnam, who also happened to sucessfully lead his tiny army against the biggest superpower in the world at the time gets my vote over someone who once ran a city for a bit.

I can understand some discussion of the most notable deaths at the end of the year, but having random members quibbling over "most significant death thus far" every couple weeks just makes it seem like BCAlum never left.

Really, some people! Gave you credit for one hit and you quibble that I'm giving you no credit. That sig' is not so much as a stream of consciousness, more like a bloody wide river of ideas. Oh, and that's Stephen Hawking, without any sight of ending his name with an "s", I thank you. Heaven knows how many other errors you have there. There are just too many names to bother to check all 150.
