Ron - as many of you may know - always enjoyed the Death List and those here who play it in the right spirit. He also made me promise that when he died I would post this message. His death was sudden, and he was in contact with Paul Bearer only a few days ago and was about to send Christmas Greetings to the site. So over to Ron: "You always did warn me that you would win in the end, so congratulations and thanks for your patience over these many years. I was honoured to be your ambassador and will miss you probably more than you will miss me. And if you ask, yes it was a life worth living, even with the regrets. i hope you all get as much out of life as I have. See you on the other side."

Thank you for delivering Ronnie's message, Critical Divide. Even in his passing, only Ronnie could still have a cheeky word for us. He has provided us with some wonderful entertainment over the years, even though I'm sure his days have been hard going for a long time. I hope he would appreciated the front page write up. RIP Ronnie!

If you haven't noticed the recent guest spam then you're not spending enough time on here. In light of said spam can we turn guests off? They've obviously found a way around the captcha.

Nobel laureates always get something in Guardian or Telegraph, but it takes some time for the lower profile ones. So he'll get an obit - the trouble is whether he'll get something before New Year's.

Nice idea, but can't see her crouching next to a DL mug and giving us the middle finger salute.

Thanks for the correction/clarity (you must be using a much better translating program than the one I have). Though, switching my statement from "he's going home because of bad health" to "he's unable to go home because of bad health" doesn't hinder my decision to include him on my list next year. Also, good catch on the line about the 'back problems', I originally glazed over that statement without a second thought. I'm Swedish so no translation needed. English, on the other hand...I kinda struggle with this language sometimes..

Yes. She did it to give her career a boost. What, like Dubya? Yes. But he's probably a better singer. She would probably be a better president of the USA. regards, Hein
