Though the idea of him going "fuck NBA, I'm off to Serie A" did raise a chuckle.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Lotfi_A._Zadeh#Protected_edit_request_on_7_September_2017 It's mainly one guy blocking the edit, he refuses to take Zadeh's own Facebook page, the Azeri consulate and Spain's largest newspaper as evidence the guy's dead.

They say it is not enough. And they will keep saying it till an US based obit appears. Wikipedia? Then they have just taken a massive nose-dive in my estimation. Ignorant cunts.

Noel Picard, a Canadian Ice Hockey defenceman who played for the Montréal Canadiens (1964-1965), St. Louis Blues (1967-1973) and the Atlanta Flames (1973), has died aged 78. He notably tripped Bobby Orr at the 1970 Stanley Cup, resulting in this iconic image:

Well I threw caution to the wind and drove I-10 anyway, knowing they the road closures were through the 4th, and I wouldn't arrive until 2am on the 5th (and seeing as the closures hadn't been extended by 3pm on the 4th...). It was nighttime but I saw next to nothing in Houston, and nothing in Beaumont proper, but the 2+ miles between Beaumont and Vidor were under 4+ feet of water, and Orange, TX near the Louisiana border took a big hit to more expensive homes. The Sabine River (the state border) was a mile over it's banks in both directions. No one lives there though, but I suppose it could permanently alter the border in spots. SC

I went and counted..... 408 of the 412 comments were along the line of 'please die I have you in my death pool'; the other 4 comments were rude. SC

Wikipedia has protected the page because there are no reliable sources. How fuzzy!

Charlie Whebell, former Daily Telegraph sports writer, has died of cancer at 64. In June this year he started a blog called "15 Months" based on how long he was told he had to live. Should have run that past the fact checking desk Charlie.

Speaking of old luvvies, what's Peter Wyngarde up to these days? Now there was a fun actor. Always reminds me of Spinal Tap's "these go to 11" in terms of OTT-ness. And another thing - I was watching an episode of Taggart on one of the freeview channels the other night. One of the shite ones, but anyhow, do you know who turned up as a villain? Jill Gascoine? You can't escape the Deathlist these days.

Great your lungs are in good condition. Please make sure that you watch for other symptoms of cancer in other parts of your body. Men who are x-smokers are at high risk of developing bladder cancer even decades after quitting. Please read up on it. Have had 3 older male friends die of this horrible disease in the last 10 years. The most recent was a few weeks ago at age 75. We miss him.
