Yeah, he's moving well. Bloody hell, who is this American dude? Some TV evangelist?

Well maybe our government should have "STOLED" the guns from us if this is the America we live in. An assault weapon ban is of course not out of the question, the NRA just likes to ignore the federal assault weapons ban of 1994. Maybe we should make this about gun politics more, perhaps kids won't be able to steal guns from their parents and children won't be gunned down in what should be their safest environment. Maybe if we made this more about gun politics, we can get young people to vote out NRA-money-filled politicians that serve their special interests more than their constituents. Maybe if this was more about politics, we can transition from being the only developed country in the world with this problem to joining countries like Australia and Japan whose gun control laws have greatly reduced violent crime. Enough, is, enough. We should stop the think tanks and clear backpacks campaign and resort to basic logic and not digging to find a temporary solution to what will be a permanent problem if we don't take drastic action. With the actions of Governor Scott in Florida and other Governors likely to follow suit, we will be the first "advanced" country to look at 212,000 children affected anually by school shootings and throw guns at the problem by putting violent murder machines in the hands of teachers that are built to nurture and... to put it bluntly: teach! What kind of logic is that? Maybe if we made this more about politics, we could secure mental health funding to make sure more kids don't feel like taking their dad's gun and shooting a place up. So as En Passant put it: This is (and should be) all about gun politics, because our lives depend on it, whether you'd like to admit it or not.

Just saw him at the Wedding, he looks old but great.

So there we have it for now. A few movers and shakers though the top few maintain their positions, with gcreptile extending his lead for now. I'm sleepwalking my way into the second half of the year, cosseting my list of survivors, all 25 of them! Stay close, my pretties.... Now the next leaderboard will, as last year, show where you were last year if you entered so you can compare your hit numbers and scores with 12 months ago. Good luck!

I think Frankie Boyle did a tweet along the lines of * the Royal Family are delighted at the size of the crowds, should absorb most of the shrapnel. + if he didn't, he should've.

Well, I don't know how believable the article is, though it's apparently legit, but martial arts superstar Jet Li suffers from severe health problems: http://www.scmp.com/sport/china/article/2146873/same-jet-li-we-all-know-martial-arts-legend-battles-illness-and-injuries

It has everything to do with gun politics. If there weren't 88 guns for every 100 people there'd be less around for anyone to steal. As the article linked (which is from the NY Times not an outside the country source) points out, the only difference between america and other western countries that don't have the numbers of these incidents is the number of guns.

You're being ridiculous. The Rotherham Advertiser is her local paper, and they have been reporting on her regularly. They will have a contact at the care home.

Special place in hell for that twat. RIP to her son. Edit: What, no video footage? Every one of the NYC skyscrapers has cameras all over. There's some sick bastard security guard making popcorn going over the 24-hour footage right now.

Comeback kings (i.e. those for whom the whole furore about going/staying became a second career in itself): Frank Sinatra and - ahem - Gary Glitter. Joey man, you're keeping both sublime and ridiculous company with this current style of self-management

Hmmm - this'll be interesting. I note the "try" in that post. So this is the first of the 12 steps, then. Apparently it helps if you believe in a higher power; I'm sending assistance

Add to the fact that Harry was a toddler when Diana and Hewitt met for the first time.

I’m into conspiracy theory as much as the next person, but people must be either mad or crazily naive to think Harry didn’t have a DNA test as soon as he was born - no WAY would the Royal Family have accepted a baby born as the result of an affair to be so close to the crown (remember Harry was third in line when he was born, if William had died early he’d have been the actual heir). If anything other than Charles’ DNA showed up Harry would have been toast and the first and last we would have heard would have been about a tragic royal stillbirth. Anyway, take away the not-quite-all-there dozy look Harry has and the (Spencer) ginger hair and he looks a lot like Phillip and Charles...

It looks like there was a blanket IP ban set in 2013 due to Polish spam accounts. I went ahead and removed the IP bans since this was back when guests could still post and thus I highly doubt the spammers will return.

So I was in Poland over the weekend and tried to access the forums on mobile yesterday, and it said I was banned. I could still access the main page, but not the forum. Once I was back in Germany, it was fine again. Is the forum banned in Poland?
