The UK is behaving like the crazy girlfriend shouting "Don't leave me or I'll kill myself". But it was their own decision, so more like "Don't make me leave you or I'll kill myself!"

It wasn't a shock to me, since I had never heard of him.

Robin Herd - former race car designer, head of March F1 team and sometime racing driver may well beat them all - fairly popular pick on various dead pools this year and tipped hereabouts a while back as teetering on the edge.

Which is why I think they'll do an under-the-table "last minute" deal. Money speaks louder than ideology and all sides have too much to lose.

Might actually be better in the already existing thread. FFS. https://forums.deathlist.net/topic/655-maniacs-say-goodbye-to-richey/ (Doubt it will be actioned anyway, perhaps @Cat O'Falk would be good enough to also post the link, then maybe it shall be done). Until whenever....

Or a Harry Enfield fan in the 90s.

Could be. Unexpected deaths seem to be moving into overkill at the moment. I might just merge the whole lot of them.

Donald Trump, seriously - the job's putting years on him and he's likely the kind who'd ignore the chance to see a doctor let alone any advice given. Heart attack or stroke with a burger in his hand and an unfinished can of cola nearby

'ite mate. We've been waiting for you. I'm no seasoned veteran/multitwunt yet, but my understanding is that there's an unwritten common sense checklist: will we know who they are? What's the state of their lifestyle/current health/age? If they're just old, are they really old (nonagenarian plus) and/or suddenly quiet? Will @Cat O'Falk diligently link me to a thread that's already been made? I dunno, I just let other people do all that. I'm just here for a laugh and to shout at Leah Bracknell for proving my predictions wrong over and over. Enjoy!

Just a quick update, she’s off the ventilator but still on oxygen and on the lung ward for now but I know there’s going to be a lot of tests done on her heart this week. However she’s awake, alert and talking away yesterday and again today. Ive barely slept since Thursday so it’s all a bit hazy now, so very large Baileys and an early night will help. Also the support of friends and family and colleagues have been amazing, so now we appear over the worst and critical stage I can hopefully chill and relax tonight.

My son got kicked out of school today for letting a girl wank him off in class. I said, "Son that's 3 schools this year, maybe teaching isn't for you."

Unfair to leave in the middle of an update. One final act of kindness. Deathers takes it from here.

I've got a feeling @YoungWillz rambling post above may be a pre-cursor to a slightly more formal announcement he's intending me to make, but given he is now free of the job of running this pool I can understand it not making so much sense in his ecstatic state . YoungWillz has decided to retire from running the pool and I've with some consideration decided to regain the pool and manage the day to day updates and running of the pool. A few expectations for any of our newer forum members: There will not be an immediate update for at least a week as I have other commitments. Updates will not be as beautifully regular as they have been under the tenure of our tremendous temporary custodian and will probably contain far more errors. If tag-lines still work on here I'd like "most inefficient deadpool" back for clarity. Disagreements will be settled by consulting the rule-book, if there's nothing in the rule-book I'll make something up on the spot to settle the issue (as demonstrated above). Repeatedly reminding me that people have died in the thread will not mean the update happens any sooner. I'm probably aware but haven't had time/been bothered enough to do the maths yet. However, the most important thing is I'm sure you will all want to join me in thanking YoungWillz for his amazing job of running this pool for far longer than was originally intended and doing such a sterling job in the process of managing this alongside several other forum commitments and many more real life ones. It's no easy task to run any deadpool, and an even less easy one to actually do a good job of it (the latter I claim no hold too have ever done). Genuinely appreciate the effort. Lastly, I'd like to congratulate him on continuing the tradition of this pool being handed over when the current host has become dissatisfied with people and the forum in general.

Given it''s theatre critics and actors (Robin Askwith is on twitter!), likely to be sadly true. Between Claudius (she played his wife Messalina that got her head chopped off), the Lynda la Plante link, the Confessions stuff, Oliver (is that cast cursed?), being Sharon Watts's mum on Eastenders, and Poldark, a proper obit *ought* to be up before end of the day.

My Mum has had a pulmonary oedema following on from a heart attack which I learned about at work this morning at 10am . Spent most of the day in resus in A and E. She’s on a ventilator now. My Dad and I are broken tonight. Just shattered. I pray my mobile doesn’t go off in the night as they (god nurses are fucking angels) said go home. Yesterday was their 49th wedding anniversary. Nothing looked wrong. life turns in the blink of an eye.
