Aw shit - there go the chances for the rest of us!

I say living until your 90s quite healthy and enjoying a final christmas with your family is how most of us would like to go. RIP June

After the conclusion of the 2017 Deathrace, where I won on the back of two executions, we all agreed it sucked all the fun out of the game and mpfc added an addendum to the first page of the 2017 DR. 2a: A player may enter as many team members facing state execution as s/he wants but said picks will only count for deathrace points if they die by means other than state execution - murder, suicide, ill health etc. It hasn't seemed to be retained for future Deathrace threads, but it ought to be. I'm firmly against those picks and - even if they are deemed acceptable - I am not picking any of the sort again (bar the rare cases of a death row inmate who'll die of other means first!).

Very very sad news - I was hoping it wasn't true - but a grand age and I'm glad she was made a Dame the other year. She was brilliant, incredibly underrated, and was always a joy to watch in anything.

Since 2017, I have been compiling names of celebrities that I believe will die soon. Everyone on my list is at least 80 years old. I avoided politicians (they deserve a list of their own). Feedback is welcomed. So - my bad on this - I copied the rules over from a previous year and Death Impends has be bang to rights on quoting the amendment we agreed after his previous win and I'm taking it as read most contestants have avoided death row cases - my reality check being the incoming teams NOT posted on this forum. That said. I've been gleefully adding yer death row candidate without too much thought (and you aren't the only one who has him). So, I've amended the rules here and - crucually - on the file I have on the computer. So McGahon, Hawke all in as requested.

People were picking definite deaths with specific dates of execution set having exhausted their appeals.

Let's always refer to the master list at the start of the thread (page 1). I will update that with deaths and new names, so everyone knows where to go for the current list. Otherwise, updates might get lost in the pages and pages of chatter.

RIP to a very funny and accomplished actress. I just saw watched her a few days ago on ITV3's perennial Carry On series of films they always seem to put on at Christmas. That's 3 actresses that appeared in Carry ons that have passed this year but weren't really associated with them or appeared in that many (I think June appeared in 3?). The other 2 of course were Fenella Fielding and Liz Fraser. Maybe Barbara Windsor could be a possible pick for next year now? i can always remember watching Terry and June when I was a kid -. Sad that she's gone but had a good innings when you consider how long she lived compared to her co-star Terry. i just remembered she's another one for the annual Dr Who remembrance list of stars - starred in End of Time parts 1 and 2 with Bernard cribbins..

With Simon Ricketts now getting an obit, I’d say it’s almost certain at this point that Pity Da Foolz will get the win. Congrats man.
