Fuck sake, it's not that many weeks later and she looked and sounded dire tonight. She looked way better when we were mocking her for looking bad in November. She's clearly got a bet on with Philip Hammond about who can grow the biggest eye bags.

There's always The Voluntary Human Extinction Movement. I actually agree with Bladen to a point; human population left unchecked and spiraling out of control will inevitably lead to a cataclysm of immense proportions. However I'm not sure a mass cull is necessary quite yet. That said, nobody can be held responsible for their own birth, or for the evolution of their forefathers and this raises interesting questions about how liable we can be held, individually or collectively, for ruining the planet. 'Antinatalist' philosopher David Benetar's seminal work Better Never To Have Been: The Harm of Coming Into Existence explores these troubling conundrums in more detail. P.S Sorry, I didn't realise this was the Weather thread

“Throughout his career, Girard was an eccentric, speaking often of himself in the third person....” Sir Creep thinks that’s awesome! Creep also lived at one time about 5 miles from the auto dealership where this guy sold cars. SC

We're dead poolers - the whole point being we know nobody's immortal and the art is guessing when each of our choices prove that. He won't see 100.

A very cool photo Sir Creep took a number of years ago, the night before Hurricane Isaac would make landfall (28 Aug 2012). It's his little masterpiece, ne'er to be duplicated. A rainbow and moon in the same photo. SC

Read his obit in When Saturday Comes that included a tragic story. When Banks was 15 his brother - who had learning disabilities - died of injuries received in a mugging when he was done over for the takings from the family's betting shop business.
