Apologies for the tardiness but... Took me a few days to get details of a fundraising page. Clorox had requested a cancer research donation as his prize and I've just confirmed I stuck £20 into someone's personal fundraising challenge for cancer. Who says we're sickos, eh?

That's two D-Days being remembered today, then

And in the meantime - 2nd and 3rd are still up for grabs, right?

Buttigieg, Hickenlooper and Klobuchar are either entries in a dictionary of euphemisms or the new generation of Pokemon

And its a magazine, not a blog as I assumed from the url, so it counts. Spade Cooley vs Banana 7-6 Boudicca vs Clorox 10-3

Not sure if the family of the husband she manslaughtered will be interested in renewing acquaintances with the newly released Sally Challen https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-surrey-48554239 I understand she's celebrating with the family and everyone plans to get hammered.

Alan 'Hownling Laud' Hope, 77, de facto leader of the Official Monster Raving Loony Party, might be worth keeping an eye on. He was unsuccessful in his latest attempt (his twentieth!) to become an MP at night's Peterborough by election, but of interest to us is something I heard on the radio about him being unwell and not able to manage much campaigning these days. He tends to pop up at any by election of note, so if he doesn't stand at the next one, it might indicate something serious about his health.

From the Associated Press: Since Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s return in late winter from cancer surgery and broken ribs , she has regularly accepted Justice Clarence Thomas’ extended hand to help her down the three steps behind the Supreme Court bench when the gavel falls and court ends for the day. There’s something touching about seeing the 86-year-old liberal icon and the 70-year-old conservative stalwart briefly join hands to exit the courtroom. Most people in the courtroom can’t see the justices once they leave the bench, but the seats reserved for reporters offer a good view. She doesn't sound that well.

I voted for Joe Biden, because people are ignorant and will support him because ''he friend with Obama and me like Obama''. There tends to be a very loyalist and next-to-the-throne aspect to the Democratic nominations, hence Hillary's victory in 2016 or Al Gore's in 2000. But outsiders are still possible (think 2008 Obama - of course, hardly an outsider nowadays). As for who I support, I think I made it clear that I'm a Bernie bro. I will be canvassing for him throughout the primary season and hope to see him pull off the win. Only path to victory for him though, imho, is if Kamala Harris gains steam and chips away at some of Biden's support in the South - a region Bernie has no shot at anyway. It'll be an interesting year...

2020 INAUGURATION SPEECH BERNIE SANDERS: "Dear Americans, I am honoured to have been elected to be your president of the United States. I promise to...*collapses to the floor*" Oh who am I kidding, he will probably become old enough to be invited to the 100th year anniversary memorial of Pearl Harbor. The man appears to have more energy than most people half his age.
