He was a great man, he liberated africa from white rule. And then all he wanted was a few farms. No big deal. Too many racist people on here like Joey Russ.

Really funny take on events (IMHO) in The Guardian this morning (unless you're a die-hard Bojo fan, obviously) - https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/sep/06/boris-johnson-twilight-zone-police-escort-conservatives

Creepy I think you are being very hard on yourself I did not realise that this was going to be quite so serious. We could always take ourselves off on a little holiday to Rome and obtain a copy of the death certificate, visit the grave and pay our last respects, would that count as proof?

My argument was that based on the statement "Qualifying names will be those getting an obit by sources used by the Windy City Deadpool, also found on its own thread at this site." MSN should be accepted, as this year's Windy City Deadpool includes MSN. I was just pointing it out because I realize I can't have it both ways, but I'll let SC make the final call.

2034 seems a good bet to me can’t see her living past 108, think she will live longer than her mum who lived to be 101 she seems fitter than her Mother was at the same age but the Queen Mother was an alcoholic. Will be Queen in name only I think once she passes 95, more and more responsibilities will be taken off her but she will never abdicate.

I don't know how likely that is - as ridiculous as it sounds, the 100+ crowd on the list seem to be perfectly happy to continue living, and I've always felt them to be the most likely to randomly pop off when a hit is desperately needed. That said, if any hits are to happen, hoping for some of the perennial bedwarmers on the list to clear out so there's at least some talk as to who'll be brought over to next year.

Bill Harris, the veteran Hollywood broadcast journalist who served as a co-host on the syndicated program At the Movies, has died. He was 75. Harris died Thursday at the City of Hope hospital after a short bout with cancer, family spokesman Rusty Citron announced. Harris was hired as one of the first reporters for Entertainment Tonight, which premiered in 1981, and he served as head writer/reviewer on Rona Barrett's gossip segments for the Today show and Good Morning America. In 1986, Harris and New York critic Rex Reed assumed the aisle seats occupied by Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert on Tribune Broadcasting's nationally syndicated At the Movies program after the original pair had left for a similar Disney-produced show.
