Ahh, FFS So, to the reply above I'd add Ringo's work when he/Lennon and Klaus Voormann made up a trio for some of the songs on Lennon's Plastic Ono Band album. Oh yeah, and the onstage work in the massive All Starr Bands who like to get stuck in and play a range of each other's hits etc. And - anyway - re the "talent" he's by far the best Beatle actor. The early films were crucial to their ability to reach a family audience (massively important to breaking them stateside where Hard Day's Night and Help played in places the band would never gig) etc etc. There's a really good book about all sorts of wrong-headed Beatle ideas that has a chapter called The Ringo Rant which tackles head on the notion that Ringo got lucky joining the band and makes a clear case that Lennon and McCartney's trip to Butlins to offer him ten bob a week more than Rory Storm was paying was actually a really astute piece of Beatle business:

I don’t think it’s a good idea to tear apart the great Hosni Mubarak. I mean, I tried to do that when he was known as Robert Mugabe and he definitely got the best of me. You have been warned

Getting better but still quite a bit from full recovery. His wife, who filed for divorce from him, and twin brother both have restraining orders against him as well

Seems to be a bit of a stushie about his knighthood. Apparently convicted of hitting his then partner 20+ years ago, now Tezza gives him a knighthood (while Tezza was always the one talking about helping domestic abuse victims). Remember the rape clause? Remember the women's refuges being shut down under Cameron when she was Home Secretary? Tezza's got form, so has Boycott. Ah.

It happened when he accidentally overheard a discussion of his medical bills, and also how close Lewis Hamilton is to his all time record.

For me the saddest aspect ofJames Cellan Jones' death is that the BBC NEVER gave him an explanation why his production of Sartre's Roads to Freedom trilogy has remained in the BBC vaults and unseen for over 40 years (originally broadcast 1970, repeated 1972, 1977; then silence apart from a showing by the BFI to invited guests a few years ago). He deserved an explanation, indeed the trilogy should have been, and should be, shown on TV, and released on dvd - it is a masterpiece. I have long been angry for this neglect.

Sorry to say but it sounds like you've only heard their popular songs. Listen to some of the films on Come Together, Good Morning Good Morning and I Want You, he used polyrhythms, marching patterns etc very effectively. Top 5 favorite drummer, this is coming from a drummer.

BELOVED FORUM POSTER DIES 11/50 6th September 2019 Robert Mugabe, best known for his many years of insightful posts on Deathlist forums, has sadly died at 95 to give another crowdsource score. He was a familiar and loved figure on the forums, with his wit, anti-racism posts, and long friendship with Deathray who recently married Neil Kinnock’s Welsh Constituency. He also had a bit of a tenuous relationship with your crowdsource host, but you can't please everyone. In these sad Post Hein days, this is the first time we’ve had 100% confirmation of the death of a Deathlist poster, since the death of forum admin Paul Bearer in 2013. Mugabe will be fondly remembered by all fans of his Swingtime Band. PS It has just reached us that Robert Mugabe was in fact a mass murdering embezzling dictator who ran roughshod over his own people for nearly 40 years. The things that people can get away with, while pretending to be a friendly member of the online community, never cease to shock. Side note: apart from a few minor tweaks this obit was the work of msc, not me. Since he clearly wanted this obit published for the longest time and I did one of his obits for Stan Lee back in 2018, I decided to give him one obit. Now I'm waiting for the why are you so racist comments...

I feel the time is long-overdue to officially declare my position; I wish for all Moderaters to be stripped of their "powers" and returned to the same level of ignominy as the rest of us huddled, unwashed masses. If anyone can offer me a decent explanation as to their raison d'être, I will accept that they are a valid institution. That old chestnut "so they can delete/manage their erroneous posts" doesn't hold any water with me; if they are whoring too much and too badly, they should be banned, not given powers to cloak their whoredom. I do not believe that any of the 3 current Moderaters (Windsor, Tempus Fugit and Banshees Scream) possess the wisdom, self-control or posting class to be considered as anything other than ordinary members. These are not people upon whom we want to bestow Moderator powers, so why are we pretending that they are? Why should they have the right to warn, kick or ban other ordinary members? The answer is simple; they shouldn't. Get rid of them all, and get rid of them NOW! Vote YES to Strip! In any case, do vote; it is your democratic right and your civic duty!

The answer remains no. Instead of building a deal in Brussels, he's removing the ugly railings on the cliff edge of Brexit.
