I'll organise the Noughties game. 0/00 Lists required of zero people born in the noughties. Probably need to come up with a tiebreaker.

Obviously Alex Trebek should he survive the end of this year. Eva Marie Saint should also be up for consideration as she's 95 now

Actually I don't think he is. If you're a rock fan, certainly, but Cream never had a top ten single and putting the question to a random gathering of older family members over the weekend - several of whom grew up in that era or were rock or pop fans in the late 60s and 70s - while most had heard of Cream, none could name any members apart from Clapton (or more than 2 of their songs). He's certainly more famous than Johnny Clegg, but if you asked 100 'ordinary' people to name members of Cream on Pointless (a UK Quiz Show) 90% + would say 'who are Cream?' and I'd be amazed if more than 1 or 2 could name him.

National Gallery thinks she's alive and a quick check doesn't bring up any death certificates for a likely Schuster in Scotland to December 2018. She may of course be long gone (I've never heard of her!) but absence of proof so far. Marsh was apparently rehearsing, felt faint and woke up in hospital. Tried to leave only to be told it was Intensive Care! Thankfully she made a swift recovery, but yes, she was been a lot quieter in general since. Atkins is still acting - was in Doc Martin earlier this year - and looked in fine fettle in that thing with Dames Smith, Dench and Plowright last Christmas. Obvious statement here, but I think all the Great British Acting Dames from that period of time (those 5 plus Sian Philips and Diana Rigg) will all make fine DL regulars one day.

Yes, considering one of the reasons given for abandoning the earlier game was "it had no clear end date", and given the very narrow obit requirement, 50 seems far too many. I realise it is intended to match the other pools (30 born in 1930s, 40 born in 1940s) but it's unrealistic to require more deaths when the picks are going to be increasingly younger. What next, 60 born in the 60s? 70 born in the 70s? See what I mean?

Here's a genius one that has never really been mentioned before: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Micheline_Bernardini Probably not obitable but an interesting article on Wikipedia

Oh I’m sorry to hear that Joey - hope you get the chance to say goodbye to your loved ones.

I did, but I'm not sure I'd relish a return visit to Rome. It's nice, but a bit crowded and expensive, though I have to say the people were actually very nice .

Aww, that might have been a good question for Guess The Song.

    Not forgetting Patricia Routledge

Giscard was standing unaided and generally looking like he'll have the last laugh on his selection this year at Chirac's funeral a few hours back

I have PM'd my list and then sent a second message with five subs in because I am clearly incapable of following simple instructions

I have PMed my list to you. Thanks for doing this.

If we’re going to pick people purely because of their advanced age, picking one of the most sprightly 95 year olds is a bad idea.

So running with the same three loosely themed teams in sequence perpetually with minimal tweaks wasn't a winning strategy. Who knew? (To be fair, I intended to be slightly less lazy in the unlikely event that I ever got to the final two).

Feeling fantastic and planning his solo world tour for next year with 190 dates confirmed. That is what we will hear tomorrow.

Oh I never said that wasn't the case

It would be very dull if the committee were choosing 50 names that they think will die at some point in the next 10,000 years though.

Honestly though, watch it be someone with 0 votes for maximum surprise.
