While browsing queer people I discovered James Ivory just turned 92. Not directed anything in like 10 years, however he did win Academy Award and BAFTA in 2017 for Best Adapted Screenplay in regards to the film Call Me by Your Name.

Budd drummed on the first record and was replaced by Roberts on the second. This forum page was useful in helping locate their records on Ancestry. Frustratingly, there also seems to be a lot of nonsense information out there, like this from the National Library of Scotland, which lists far out birth years. Possible that the group adopted false DOBs in order to seem younger for public image. Culbertson is sometimes called Cuthbertson. Safe to assume he is deceased. This says that Culbertson was Scottish-born, but then it also says he was a cousin, whereas this says Harold met him whilst in the Armed Forces. Possible that bass player Steve Bingham (b. 1949) recorded on either or both of them, though most sources seem to indicate that he joined closer to 1970. NB2: Can't find full details for Tim Harris. The source I've used for his death in 2007 is the National Portrait Gallery. When you search Timothy Harris in 2007 deaths on the GRO site, nothing comes up. There is however a Timothy Harris who died in Plymouth in the start of 2006, and he was born 14 Feb 1948 (one month off the DOB commonly given for him). This is possibly him but can't verify without more evidence. That was enough to find him on Ancestry. Real name William Leo O'Brien (death record lists both O'Brien and Courtney as a surname). NB2: This promo has bio details of the members, but some of them don't add up. Firstly, Gold is correct. Courtney is wrong – it says he was born on 2nd Apr but his death record gives a DOB of 26th Jan 1926. Colligan (aka Golden) it may have right. I can't find a record under either of these names on Ancestry with the DOB 25th Sep 1931, though there is one a few years younger who was born in 1928 in Peabody and died in 2009. Could this be him? Mahoney is a total headache. The promo gives his DOB as 12th Jul 1928. The source I originally used for his death here says he was born in 1920 and died on 25th Jul 2007. The record for that person on Ancestry says they were born 25th May 1919. This doesn't seem right as his age is out of step with the rest of the group and they all studied/lived together? I have used his DOB from the promo for the time being and seeing as he's listed as deceased around the internet without any contention, let's assume that is the case. Whether he died in 2007 or not is up for debate. I will revisit this act at a later point to try and get some concrete answers! Whether Alford recorded on their 1954 record is not clear. He had been suffering from recurring health problems, so Vereen was brought in to fill in for Alford on some recording sessions around this time. By 1955, Alford had left completely and substitute Vereen was switched with permanent replacement Holland. A male patient is lying in bed in the hospital, wearing an oxygen mask over his mouth and nose, still heavily sedated from a difficult, four hour, and surgical procedure. A young, student nurse appears to give him a partial sponge bath. "Nurse", he mumbles, from behind the mask. "Are my testicles black?" Embarrassed, the young nurse replies, "I don't know, Sir. I'm only here to wash your upper body and feet." He struggles to ask again, "Nurse, are my testicles black?" Concerned that he may elevate his vitals from worry about his testicles, she overcomes her embarrassment and sheepishly pulls back > the covers. She raises his gown, holds his penis and his testicles in her hands. Then, she takes a close look and says, "There's nothing wrong with them, Sir!" The man pulls off his oxygen mask smiles at her and says very slowly," Thank you very much. That was wonderful, but, listens very, very closely..... A r e - m y - t e s t - r e s u l t s - b a c k?

That's me out then ! We must be due a hit any day now. 38 days is the longest gap this year and if we don't have one by this time next week August will be the first month without a hit this year. We can't let that happen !
