This is the updated scoresheet. It includes all the names included in the last post. It also included points which seem to be missing in the last update for Banana (Tom Belso) and John Key (Sam Lloyd), If You think I have missed any names, or miscalculated your score, let me know and I'll change it. Grim Up North has taken a commanding lead with 5 hits since the last update (as he so modestly informed us!). Banana, Radguy, greptile and Etush have all jumped up into contention with 3/4 hits in August/September. At present, it looks like a two horse race between Grim and CaptainChorizo. If you have a lisp you are doubly fucked. The Government will create a post for a Lispfinder General to roam the country and burn them all at the stake.

Just watched the fascinating Challenger disaster documentary on Netflix. Many ex-astronauts featured look in good shape, although Richard Truly looks quite doddery now. Larry Mulloy, effectively painted as the bad guy, doesn't look great but his boss, William Lucas, looks very well at 98. Joe Kilminster, of Morton Thiokol, clearly has some Parkinson-related disease but his voice was relatively strong. Its surprising how many key players to the disaster, then in their mid 50s, are still going. Maybe karma for the seven who died early if you believe in that kind of thing.

Haven't had time with all these deaths and a sunny weekend in Glasgow to look at the others above. If nobody major dies by morning, I'm on it.

Confirmation from Olympedia. They haven't got a date but have at least narrowed it down to occurring between 2018 and 2020.

Watching some 1960's music programme reminds me Berry Gordy is 90 now - still in decent health as far as I can tell but a A+ name of music and a deathlisty name.

Meh, if he dies, Pence gets sworn in immediately and nothing is being slowed down. It would be far more efficient to go for Mitch McConnell.

OK, there has been no objections in the past 8 hours, I'll do the totting up for the rest of this years event. The last update was on 26th July. The deaths that I can find that are not in that update are as follows: 19th July: Ruth Morrissey 20th July: Liz Clarke-Saul 3rd August: John Hume 4th August: Cullan Brown 9th August: Kamala 10th August: Raymond Allen 11th August: Sumner Redstone 12th August: Francisco Jose Cox 20th August: Frankie Banali 25th August: Arnold Spielberg 15th September: Pat Smullen 18th September: Ruth Bader Ginsberg 19th September: Lee Kerslake If I've missed one of your picks from the list, then its probably your own fucking fault for picking ridiculously obscure names. I mean even Google couldn't manage to find some of these guys. I will post an updated scoresheet shortly

Chuck Feeney earned a fortune from a duty free shopping empire he co-founded but his disdain for money meant that for years he wore at $10 watch, only ever owned one pair of shoes and was prone to arriving at important meetings with his paperwork in a carrier bag. Newsworthy now because he's succeeded in giving away £6 billion - much of it in bequests to education. All the reports suggest the 89 year old is acting now because he ain't well. Thought, I'd - like - park a mugshot here. Obit chances fairly good since he's likely boosted them mightily with this philanthropic gesture.

Sorry for your losses on a personal level. But yes 2020 is a heck of a year with regards to celebrity /iconic deaths and will be until the end is my sense. I do believe a new record will be set by the official deathlist.

Unanimous verdict for Clorox Bleachman and Book to receive points off of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Only Clorox of the two appointed her to his main team so receives 25 base points and 10 unique bonus points for 35 in all, while Book receives 50 for courting a second sub hit. And fear not, at least in the HPDP Clorox and Book cannot McConnell another pick into their teams before the year is up!

Worth remembering that Ginsburg's first pancreatic cancer diagnosis happened while Obama was president and had control of the Senate. Pretty much a perfect opportunity to retire then and there. This complete clusterfuck could've been avoided entirely.
