Hilton Valentine lived in Wallingford according to this: https://www.myrecordjournal.com/News/Wallingford/Wallingford-News/Wallingford-resident-Hilton-Valentine-rock-guitarist-for-the-Animals-dies-at-77.html?fbclid=IwAR2NIOXm-NU3UEMKu9cXWj5BmbX94oCTduIqWmy0LKsEn2S9sXtU7NEaJRo Wonder how many locals even knew about his past. Like I've shared earlier hereabouts, a Maidstonian used to mutter about his pop music past whilst supping in a town centre pub. Several people didn't believe a word - but he was a former Pretty Thing and nationally obitted when he went.

Oh damn. Chilling indeed. Sounds very much like a suicide when you mix this tweet with how they "tragically" found him dead at home.

No. I think he was still seasonally visiting family in India as recent as a few years back. That’s maybe where the confusion lies. He moved to the U.K. in the 1960s, and as of August 2020, still lived in Goodmayes, which is a part of Ilford in London.

Died abroad in Athens. She suffered a fall and required a blood transfusion according to friends on social media, but died several hours later. The Guardian are saying she had "climbed up" somewhere at 4am to watch the full moon and then slipped. Sounds like a drunken idea that's gone horribly wrong.
