Well known twitter personality Cecilia Bartholemew has been in hospital with a heart attack. The entire twitter community has responded appropriately. CB was of course a close friend of the late Prince Phillip and announced the death of her even closer friend Dame Cheryl Gillan two days before Dame Cheryl actually died. Lol

Former NFL player and wrestler, though would use the latter term loosely, Steve McMichael is in a bad way with ALS. https://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/bears/ct-prem-chicago-bears-steve-mcmichael-als-20210423-okfosu3f7ffzpcn6d4lja62cw4-story.html

Good of you to try and keep Zombie Oswald Mosley at bay. He rose from his Paris grave some time in about 2012 and has been slowly shuffling his way towards Britain ever since, with enough money for a single ferry-fare in his hand. Every time you say the word "fascist" on the internet, the wind knocks him back 200 metres.

@Octopus of Odstock Christopher Leonard b. Christopher Leonard 11 Jul 1927 Jarrow, EN (Hugman's) Family tree: Christopher Leonard b. 1927 Jarrow d. 1987 father: William Leonard mother: Elizabeth Cartwright Now he was the only Christopher Leonard born in that entire region in 1927 so must be him. Problem is where? Definitely did not die in the UK... and I extended the search on FreeBMD to 1985–1989 in case the authors of the tree recalled the year wrongly... which happens (like in David D Gray's case). Anyway, I believe this is him, but best of luck finding more. It's a game of "where in the world". ------------------------------------- Gordon Revel Still alive – address is in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire as of 2021. ------------------------------------ Robert Williams Can't find his fate but Hugman's should correct his birth name. Definitely Robert Raymond Williams, not Raymond Robert Williams. Will help with finding him further down the line. ------------------------------------ Thomas McGairy Dead. Alternate spelling brings up an exact match on birthdate: Name: Thomas McGarry Death Age: 75 Birth Date: 25 Nov 1927 Registration Date: Dec 2002 Registration District: Leeds Inferred County: Yorkshire Register Number: A32C District and Subdistrict: 0921A Entry Number: 56 Need to order the certificate for the full date. That's 1927 done. Just two more years left.

As the oldest living state leaders seem to be a pretty strong group, here's a list of the top 5 (plus the two "unclear status" ones) a picture of the person is above his name. (101th birthday, March 2021) (Unclear status) - Josip Manolić (b. 22th of March 1920) Second Prime Minister of Croatia 1990-1991. Croatia was still a part of SFR Yugoslavia until 1991. A meme in his country for how youthful he is. Seems to still be very healthy. (100th birthday, January 2021) 1 - Mustafa Ben Halim (b. 29th January 1921) Libyan Prime Minister 1954-1957. Only Kingdom of Libya leader who lived long enough to see Gaddafi fall. (Unclear status) - Kim Yong-ju (b. September 1921?) Vice President during Vacancy 1994-1998. Not much information on how he's doing nowadays or if he is even alive. (2016) 2 - Francisco Morales-Bermúdez (b. 4th October 1921) Military dictator/President of Peru 1975-1980. Sentenced to life imprisonment in Italy in 2017. (16th of April 2021, vaccinated for COVID) 3 - Luis Echeverría (b. 17th January 1922) Mexican President 1970-1976. Banned rock music recorded my Mexican bands in 1971. He was hospitalized in 2018, is now in a wheelchair. (2016) 4 - Khamtai Siphandon (b. 8th February 1924) First the Laotian Prime Minister 1991-1998, then the President 1998-2006. Stepped down in 2006, his predecessor as President (Nouhak Phoumsavanh) lived to 98. One of the more quiet people on this list. (Late 2020) 5 - Tomiichi Murayama (b. 3rd March 1924) Japanese Prime Minister 1994-1996 known for releasing the Murayama Statement. Still in good health.

Two centenarians on my list, both painters: Wayne Thiebaud and Pierre Soulages, both of legendary international fame in their field but then again as a painter myself I can't vouch for how well-known they are overall. Two more would turn 100 this year: Philippe (son of) de Gaulle, and another painter: Françoise Gilot. She especially is living history in art like the Queen is in politics, a true window into a different era.

James Lovelock is definitely famous enough both in his field and media presence in the past. June Spencer from the Archers is another centenarian name that strikes me as meeting the DL threshold. She is certainly better known than Clarissa Eden.Over 70 years (with a few breaks) playing the same character. Also the last original cast member of the Archers still in it.I think only her and Ysanne Churchman are the only living original cast members from the very beginning. Not sure if Pamela Mant the original Christine Archer is still alive. Both Lovelock and Spencer will get widespread coverage when they go.So will Clarissa Eden but not as much.

Former NFL star turned "wrestler" Steve 'Mongo' McMichael has been quietly battling ALS/MND, gone public now as he is "declining quickly". https://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/bears/ct-prem-chicago-bears-steve-mcmichael-als-20210423-okfosu3f7ffzpcn6d4lja62cw4-story.html
