Or pissing themselves with excitement over the thought of owning a thread that’s 7 pages long and feel the need to keep it alive by unnecessarily bumping it with useless information every 5 minutes.

And when the new thread is opened, would everyone please remember to give the gamerunner time to set up the first few posts for scoreboard, lists of teams/picks etc.

My gawd, don't think I know many of the actors in that: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118200/ Go wild, go esoteric, go something with a Wiki reference to make it easier.

Why the fuck are you on this forum then?

We know that it is going to get worse before it gets better, there are two questions I have to ask. 1. What is the maximum number of daily deaths that will be recorded? 2. How long will their second wave last. Given a starting point of 3,800 the daily rate needs to be below this for 10 consecutive days (my definition) my answers 11,500 and 23rd November 2021. Numbers by the end of May.

https://vancouversun.com/news/local-news/west-coast-architecture-legend-geoffrey-massey-dies-at-age-96 Arguably this should also be in a thread that covers architects too but I decided to post here first. Whilst doing some casual googling of the cast of 1947 Joan Crawford film Possessed which I watched on DVD tonight I found out that in December Geoffrey Massey, son of Hollywood golden age actor Raymond Massey, died aged 96 in Vancouver Canada. He was also in his own right a prominent and influential architect in Canada who worked with Arthur Erickson. He was also the brother of the late actress and actor Anna Massey and Daniel Massey.

The actual death rate is so far removed from what is recorded I'm not sure if the recorded number has any meaning.

Brazilian actor Paulo Gustavo dead at 42: https://www.designerwomen.co.uk/celebrities-and-friends-react-to-the-death-of-paulo-gustavo-victim-of-covid-19/?amp=1 I thought he was young enough to survive it, but no, Covid has been merciless.

In other wtf news, Meghan Markle, who refuses to communicate with her own father and who has alienated her husband from his father, has put her name to a children's book about ... the bond between fathers and sons.

Damn. I thought a stunning, large HD picture of Meghan Markle would be a very welcome sight as the first post in Scavenger Hunt IV. Hmm..

Yes. The Hares Death Pool points were awarded from the notable's expiry date number of days from January 1, so I wrote 98 for scores. I counted 98 days from 1 Jan to 9 April. Maranne's death date is 12 April 2021, 98+3 (101). Thus, 98 and 101 are the correct SCORES in the Hares Death Pool 2021 with which to update my TALLY, unless more of my entries drop before the next update. Did you blip over the word 'scores'? Why else would you remind us Prince Philip was 99?

Phil Arthur - another one I suspected to be a stage name, and it appears that is the case. His real name was Philip Arthur Guibord, born on November 30, 1916 (not 1923, as he wrote here: https://www.historyforsale.com/phil-arthur-autograph-resume-signed/dc313018) in Plattsburgh, New York and he died on November 14, 2004 per Social Security Records, buried in Nevada (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/161457570/philip-arthur-guibord). Name: Philip Arthur Guibord[Phil Arthur][Philip Guibord] Gender: Male Race: White Birth Date: 30 Nov 1916 Birth Place: Plattsburgh, New York Death Date: 14 Nov 2004 The following clipping from the Brooklyn Daily Eagle (26 Aug 1945) stated he attended the College of William and Mary, and graduated in 1940, which seems to have suggested the 1923 DOB was wrong. It also provides some info about his early schooling, which matches with this additional clipping of Philip Guibord attending Rutgers Prep. There are also multiple references to Philip Guibord throughout the 1930s to 1950s in various acting/theatre roles. His football prowess seems to have been overstated a bit however as there doesn't seem to be corroboration that he was a letter winner at W&M.

Charlie Hebdo did similar. Shrieking outrage from some but to me it's excellent satire. BTW the translation says "Why Meghan left Buckingham...", with her replying "because I couldn't breathe anymore"
