Really enjoyed his Glasto set. Good for an 80 year old not to need a toilet break! We'll miss the old millionaire when he's gone.

She was recklessly stubborn for not retiring under Obama when she had already had cancer twice including of the pancreas.Yes there are others to blame like Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell but her hubris really got the better of her. When you have a life time appointment that has huge consequences you should look at the bigger longer term picture.

Dad's Army – Caroline Dowdeswell (77) who played Janet King is still alive, as is Michael Knowles (85) who played Captain Cutts. The Army Game – Frank Williams MAY have been the last surviving cast member. Depends if Michael Stainton (b. 1935, IMDb) is still with us. His last role was in 2002. The GRO Index tends to suggest that he was alive up to 2021, and I'd expect his passing to be noted somewhere as he was very prolific, even though he only really played supporting roles.

If it makes you feel any better, MC is blocked because his posts contribute a grand total of naught to this site. Somehow I have allowed your posts to continue, call it an oversight, but you’ve been absent. Regardless, you’re just above MC which isn’t saying a lot, but hopefully it makes your day. SC

Boris says he will not undergo 'psychological transformation' so anyone who doesn't like narcissism and pathological lying best get used to it. Says he's looking ahead to his third term in the 'mid-2030s' so add delusions of grandeur to those psychological traits. Claims again that he has been given a renewed mandate via the confidence vote last month. But it's Boris, so at the same time as he's doing all this, it comes out that The Times are carrying a story saying he was planning to use a Tory donor's money to build a £150,000 tree house at Chequers for son Wilf, which was only scrapped due to police security concerns. I mean, where do you start? Maybe with the fact that Chequers is his summer home temporarily while he's Prime Minister., not somewhere to build a permanent tree house for his child. Or the fact that £150,000 is needed to buy an actual house in most of the country. Or the fact that it's yet another story about a Tory donor paying for Boris's extravagant lifestyle choices. Or the endless questions it raises about what this Tory donor expected to gain from the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in exchange for his generation donation. Or WHY THE FUCK NONE OF THIS SEEMS TO MATTER TO BORIS JOHNSON?! No psychological transformation: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-61934851 'Actively thinking about third term': https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-61939938 Treehouse story: https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/boris-johnson-planned-150-000-treehouse-for-son-wilf-at-chequers-m8dthdf9v (Paywall)

She was my pick last year. I didn't see her as a QO certainty, but now we know the answer. RIP. Btw, my "off-game" score for the DDP appears to be 64, which is 5 points higher than my all-time score of 59. I could see myself getting past 100, and that's even if Alagiah, Whale, Nolan, Turnbull & Barkan all survive the year.
