6 pointsI've just finished scrutinising all teams for irregularities. @The Unknown Man, there's a couple of errors on your team – you've got Michael J. Fox, who isn't (quite) one of the 50 playable names, at #12, and duplicate Rhod Gilberts at #18 and #23 – but fortunately, you have two eligible substitutes, so you don't need to do anything. I've removed Michael and the lower Rhod from your team on my spreadsheet, and your subs, Tony Bennett and Randy Jackson, will compete at #24 and #25. Everything else looks fine, and we've got a nice round 50 players, so time to crack out the bold red text: SUBMISSIONS OFFICIALLY CLOSED.

4 pointsDaniela Bianchi, the attractive Italian actress, the first runner-up and Miss Photogenic in the 1960 Miss Universe contest, whose film career started in 1958, and best known for her iconic role as Tatiana Romanova, her voice was dubbed by Barbara Jefford due to Bianchi's heavy accent, in "From Russia with Love", is 81 today. Kenzaburō Ōe, the intellectual and notable Japanese novelist, one of the most important authors of his generation, the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1994, and whose works express the disillusionment and rebellion of his post-World War II generation, is 88 today.

3 pointsBataan Death March survivor Paul Kerchum died at the age of 102 last month according to https://www.af.mil/News/Article-Display/Article/3277537/famed-airman-cmsgt-paul-kerchum-laid-to-rest-with-full-military-honors/. Considering around 75,000 American and Filipino troops were in the Bataan Death March and around 20,000 were killed. I think it's quite reasonable to say that Paul Kerchum was one of the last if not the last American survivor of the Bataan Death March. Not sure if any Filipino survivors are still alive.

2 pointsI am once again posting a team on behalf of my mother. We had to go for a drive, so I printed the list off and sat in the passenger seat talking a ranking out of her. In text form: My own team coming shortly.

1 pointAA Milne died on this day 67 years ago, aged 74. Milne was a playwright and novelist early in his career. When his son Christopher was born in 1920, he began to make children's books for him to read. One of these was 1924's When We Were Very Young, a collection of poems- one of them, "Teddy Bear", featured a teddy bear called Edward. In 1926, Milne took the character, and renamed him Winnie-the-Pooh, after a black bear in the London Zoo and a friend's pet swan. Supporting characters consisted of Christopher's other plushies, such as a tiger (Tigger), a donkey (Eeyore) and a kangaroo (Kanga), and the only human character, Christopher Robin- obviously an insertion of Christopher himself. Disney would buy film rights to the books in 1961. Christopher would eventually grow up to believe that his father exploited his childhood for money, and became estranged from his parents.
