All of the teams have been posted up above, so we are now officially in business. In total we have 25 players, an increase of 1 from last year. We had 24 up until the last minute, until @Pedro67asked for his missus to be entered in the pool, and I was happy to oblige. Of the 238 potential picks, 155 were selected on at least 1 team, leaving 83 unwanted names, with Alain Delon, Joe Biden, Timothy West, Warren Buffett and Vladamir Putin among the notable names that no-one selected. Next year I might introduce an auction of unwanted picks- I might as well make the game more complicated than it already is! 44 of the picks were unique, with 4 players accounting for 28 of them. Mrs Pedro led the way with 9 unique picks, surprising leading @Gooseberry Crumble with 8 uniques, @Pedro67with 6, and @Great Uncle Bulgariawith 5. It wasn't a successful strategy for Gooseberry last year - will Mrs Pedro fare any better this year? James Whale was the most popular pick, being selected on all bar 2 teams. Frank Field was on all bar 3 teams, with Rolf Harris and George Alagiah being the next most popular selections, on all bar 4 teams. Obviously the change to the scoring system has not deterred players from selecting the big names, but could the penalties for surviving Drop 40 and Deathlist picks come back to haunt them at the end of the game? The known bonuses are listed up above. There have been a couple of minor alterations to add some extra dates that qualify for a bonus, but they are now fixed for the remainder of the game. @Clorox Bleachmanhas selected 15 hidden bonuses which I now have, and will be adding to scores as the hits come in. Three of them have already come into effect, as they relate to the teams submitted- I will post up a scoreboard later showing the bonuses applied. Most of the bonuses will be revealed as they are hit. Some will not be revealed until the game has concluded. I can tell you that there are no bonuses or penalties this year for naming the bonuses, so feel free to comment on them as they arise. There is one hidden bonus which I will reveal now, as it is important that players are now aware of it: 14. +2 for the first player who posts a picture of their hit receiving a prize. +1 for every subsequent player who posts a picture of them receiving a different prize. (the player must have had a hit with that pick). If all players who picked them posts a picture, -2 for the last player to post (or for the only person not to post a picture if all players bar one do it) I will try to be a little more regular with the updates this year, but I m not making any promises! Best of luck to everyone

RIP Yasue Okai and Kimiko Ono. Kimiko Ono seemed to be in good shape however Fusa Tatsumi outlived her. Fusa could be a new Nabi Tajima as she continues to defy expectations.

I think Trump will be around longer than we think, apart from his weight there isnt much wrong with him (physically speaking that is). Fred Trump lived to be 94 and Mary Trump reached 88, so he's got good enough genes. Would be interesting to see if he'll actually lose weight when medically advised to do so, given that he is clearly smarter than all doctors. My list would be: Carter (obvs) Biden Clinton Trump Bush Obama

I still remember the days when Gerald Ford was the longest lived U.S President and Carter and Bush Sr. were catching up and hoping they would break the record, but thinking that both would fall short especially knowing the health issues they had (Carter with cancer, Bush Sr. wheelchair bound and suffering from vascular parkinsonism). How wrong I was. Bush Sr. broke the record and lived to the age of 94 and Carter broke the record again a few months later and just kept going and going, 95, 96, 97, 98. After a certain point I was genuinely surprised as to how he kept on going. Though it's pretty clear he's not making it to 100, Jimmy Carter has exceeded all DL expectations and has secured his place in DL history as one of it's greatest immortals. Also, the record of the longest lived U.S President is pretty much set in stone at this point, it would take Joe Biden 18 years to even reach the age of 98.

Bill Clinton is the only other one I could see going by 2030, unless something unforeseen was to happen to Trump. Also, Rosalynn isn't necessarily a goner this year. Yes, the Bushes and Nixons died in quick succession but Betty Ford lasted about five years after Gerald and Nancy Reagan lasted almost 12 years after Ronald. Jackie Kennedy and Lady Bird Johnson (although much younger at the time) even survived their husbands by several decades.
