Another footballer sidelined by a heart issue (see Enoch Mwepu, passim) is ex-Liverpool player Lucas Leiva, who was diagnosed during a medical while playing with boyhood club Grêmio (from whom Liverpool signed him in 2007).

I know that is Prince Philip's last photo, but it's not nearly as iconic as the one that started that Prince Philip is a zombie/vampire meme.

Aye, relevant atm because Bojo faces a hearing on Wednesday into whether he misled parliament. He's already been refused permission for his lawyer to speak on his behalf so if it goes really badly he could be suspended for long enough that the rules regarding a constituency recall petition might apply. Basically, if enough people officially ask he'd be forced into a by-election, that'd be tasty too.

Several people downvoted re-releases as a matter of principle in previous rounds yet Bluebells seem to have got a free pass. Not that I mind particularly given it's one of the better ones in a pile of mostly dross, just saying....Still a few left in the 'even worse than Mr Blobby' category. Says it all really.. 38 Bluebells – Young At Heart 36 Shakespear's Sister – Stay 32 Ace of Base – All That She Wants 31 2 Unlimited – No Limit +4 30 Tasmin Archer – Sleeping Satellite 28 The Shamen – Ebeneezer Goode 25 Culture Beat – Mr. Vain 24 Snap! – Rhythm Is A Dancer 22 Boyz II Men – End Of The Road 22 DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince – Boom! @Gisooo @tracy Can you help me check if Ralph Hart (Imdb) is still alive? I saw in radaris a Ralph Hart with same birth month and year, and living in Yucaipa which fits the description of a small desert town in California according to a blog about his whereabouts. He is marked as deceased but no details were given.

I get that, but why not carry the quote and reply to a more relevant thread? I’m not gnashing my teeth and renting my hair about it, just mildly disappointed.

I don't have an exact birth date, but according to this French language article from January 2022, Len 'Kojak' Shelley was 81 at the time it was written. Presuming Shelley is now 82, he was likely born in 1940. https://www.viva-media.ca/la-voix-regionale-vaudreuil-soulanges/culture-vs/arts-visuels-vs/dune-toile-a-lautre-pour-len-shelley/

@Octopus of Odstock Terry Regan b. 26 Jun 1926, Bradford, EN (Hugman's) As per Electoral Register: Name Mr Terence Regan Birth 1924-1926 Residence 2005-2006, 2008-2010 Ilkley, West Yorkshire, England And as per 192 People... still in Ilkley in 2020. Doesn't appear in Probates so still alive. ------------------------- Alf Horne b. Alfred Horne 6 Sep 1926 in Brixworth, EN (Hugman's) Record match: Name Alfred T Horne Birth Oct 1926 Brixworth, Northamptonshire Family tree match: Name Alfred T Horne Spouse: Audrey M Sutton Vaux Birth: Dec 1926 Brixworth, Northamptonshire, England (presumably says Dec because his birth was registered in quarter 4 i.e. Oct–Dec) Death: Jun 1967 Watford, Hertfordshire, England And here's that record from the official death index: Name Alfred T Horne Birth abt 1922 Death Apr 1967 Watford, Hertfordshire, England Problem – it says he was 45, and gives his year of birth as "about 1922". However, it wasn't unheard of for information to be recorded wrongly in the death index during this period – I found loads of this when I was doing my own family tree, and also British musicians. I still think this is him. ------------------------ Alec Montgomery Easy one. A unique name by English standards. Here he is in the Electoral Register: Name Mr Alec Montgomery Birth 1924-1926 Residence 2003-2008, 2010 Atherstone, Warwickshire, England Still there as of 2021 according to 192 People. ---------------------- Bill Anderson b. William Anderson 6 Nov 1926 in Lochore, Fife, Scotland (Hugman's) This COULD be him (via an Ancestry family tree): Bill Anderson b. 1926 Fife, Scotland d. 1987 Hounslow, England Check the death index and here it is: Name: William Anderson Death Age: 60 Birth Date: 26 Nov 1926 Registration Date: Aug 1987 Registration District: Hounslow Inferred County: Greater London Volume: 13 Page: 987 So a slight variance in the DOB (6 vs. 26), like we've seen before but my hunch is this is him. Probably worth ordering the certificates (the birth certificate from Scotland's People and the death certificate from the GRO) to see if there are matches (e.g. birthplace, parents names etc). That will give the answer. That's all of 1926 now done.

I'm actually finding this a bit annoying. Was he really that great? He's definitely not the best black footballer I've ever seen that was Tony Fuckin Yeboah, thanks. He's probably not gonna die but they're gonna report every time he's in hospital over the next decade until he does.....
