Athough I dislike the football analogy, I think that is avery good idea. It could act as the energising factior that our rather stagnant forum seems to need at the moment. Perhaps it could mirror the real "transfer window" and only exist between say April 1st and June 30th? Why not ask a few moderators for their opinion. the system i use is 1 transfer every month, between the 1st and the 3rd - it just keeps you up to date on breaking news, keeps it more interesting.

if you could bring someone in on the first of the month, every month, who would be your incoming transfer this month? Obviously Fidel is a prime target right now.. but im assuming he would already be on your list...

Happy days. above everton until tomorrow, when we hammer Wigan 3-0 I hope so, we're already depending on other teams' results to go in our favour, although I think unless 2 teams out of West Ham, Wigan or Sheffield United go into administration, start regularly fielding ineligible players or fail to turn up for a few games we're doomed already. I suppose we could try winning a few more games, but that seems even more unlikely than the above scenario. I say this after our first away win for 15 months, I expected to feel at least a little bit happier after that but I still can't see anything but Championship football next season. And I doubt we'd come straight back up either. well its been said before but the Championship is difficult to get out of (it's not, of course, you could just score 200 own goals and go down... ) but as for bouncing back up-- could be a difficult one... Everton had a few close calls over the years and i know for a fact if Barry Horne hadn't scored that goal against Wimbledon.. we would still be down there, probably in League One or Two....
