Exactly and that's another aspect of the luck component.

This format makes luck a bigger factor than most. A lot of us are pretty good at figuring out who will die in the next year but figuring out who will die in the next month is a lot trickier. As a result, great picks sometimes last more than a month or fail to make the starting line.

Not exactly germane to this thread but I dislike it when people are relating a phone conversation and make their hand into a telephone. I don't know why it should bug me but it does.

Many people use "goes" for "said". A typical conversation might be: So she goes "shut up", so then I goes "no, YOU shut up" so then she goes.......
