Late to the party aren't you (we had our first snow in November although it went mild again after). Also - in your area of Yorkshire, the moors have had some for weeks. Enjoy it. I'm more Peaks than Moors. Looks like it's slowing so just a covering rather than anything serious. Makes a change from the continual rain. Pictures on the weather forum I on are showing up to 8cm in parts of Yorkshire tonight so far. Even at lower levels you should be looking at 3-4cm by the time the front passes through. 4cm is nothing for a Rockhopper Penguin. It's an awful lot for this pathetic excuse of a winter.

If you had the power to grant state funerals who would you grant them to:

Was it just me who was surprised Nicholas Winton didn't get a ceremonial? -

These quotas are daft. What's the point of interviewing someone you're clearly not going to employ? Good luck. -

Ken Barlow's death is going to though, if we ignore the question mark over his IDing of girlfriends in the sixties. -
Elaborate. ?? who is the low rate alcoholic? It's Lemmy. And it's someone who drinks to excess over a reasonably long life (60-80 years rather than 20-40) to a degree that isn't causing them the immediate threat of early death (in their 20s and 30s) but is still going to kill them prematurely.

Don't think RadGuy was implying Feek is the biggest death since Mandela/Thatcher. Nor was I. My feeling is a massive death. The Queen? Philip? Obama? Merkel? Beiber? I don't have a specific name in mind. But someone relatively elderly but not expected to die such as the Queen, Prince Philip, Attenborough, David Jason, Ronnie Corbett types... Liz & Phil would be up there with Thatcher/Mandela in terms of 'bigness'. The rest, not even close. I think you under-estimate Attenborough. The other two maybe debatable. -
Out of interest how old is your father and what sort of dementia does he have?

I have a feeling we're in for the biggest death since Thatcher/Mandela tomorrow. -
Overt displays of grief reactions in response to celebrity deaths. Get a fucking life, you do not need to go into a meltdown because some actor, musician or low-rate alcoholic has carked it.
-
Cheers. What alternative would you suggest? The truth; I would absolute detest working for your shitty organisation that exploits workers, takes advantage of consumers ignorance and treats both staff and patrons like something you'd wipe off your shoe" Also, this isn't for an interview. Tad unfair if they're seeking employment at one of the burger chains.... Unsurprisingly one of the places these applications are going!

The unknown sick are kicking the known sick's asses these days. 69 a dangerous position to be in, eh? If you've lived a celebrity lifestyle, perhaps?

Just need Morbidkid to offer now. Cunt ray myuzik sinker Joy Freak has dyed at the age of 40 from can, sir. Surely an early contender for post of the year?

Just need Morbidkid to offer now. How dare you compare me to him...

Dear me, you make it sound as though the poor souls will practically be on the breadline. That's obviously not what I meant. It's easily enough to comfortably never work again and live it up a bit but if you go straight down the spend, spend route you end up like Michael Carroll. Given it's something that'll never happen to me (as I rarely even play) I've spent far too much time considering what I'd do if I won it.

Can't comprehend why anyone would go public if they won a million never mind thirty three. Also gave the rough location they want to live in! Muppets. Now the wait to find out if the other winner goes public or not is on. Also with regards to spend, spend, spend. You're better off leaving it and living off it through annual withdrawals. As they are 54 they need to plan for up to 100 years of support between them leaving them with 330,000 a year each. Nice if you can get - although this doesn't account for inflation.
