    Mugabe again.

Oh FFS why? How many pages have you looked at where no one has died? (there's an obvious line in here which I'm not going to use as feeling generous and it is a Sunday).

Coincidentally, I did a King Abdullah update search (for the first time in forever) in the evening of 22 January and found out he died on the morning of 23 January. Eerie. People fascinated by death, search for people who could die and find out just after that they died. There must be meaning in the world after all.... where did I put that Bible?

    The Dead Of 2015

Along the too lazy to create a new forum lines, what about a Death List nomination for the new £20 note?http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-32796423(It's about $30 for our American brethren). Of course I don't see why it has a to be a face....

    The Dead Of 2015

In the US, the appeals processes and clemency pleas could take up to a decade. In Egypt, on the other hand, things might go faster. I'd say Morsi. I was going to say that. Plus one is like 27 the other 87. Not a contest SC I think you are mixing up Morsi and Mubarak... Morsi is just 61 and in good health, but it doesn't even matter if they're gonna hang him in a year or two anyways. Maybe the Yanks should take a page out of ISIS' book and behead Tsarnaev on live TV. I'm sure FOX would be up for it.

Who goes first Morsi or Tsarnaev?

    By-Election Bingo

I accept your entry but I will need at least one other name as Sally Bercow may be many things but not a sitting MP. There's a good joke in there somewhere but potentially libellous. "But she may be found sitting on a current MP!"? That was the one, good luck in court!

    By-Election Bingo

Odd that nobody has picked me up on this. This should be 1987-2005. The first by-election of the 2010 parliament was because Phil Woolas was a naughty boy and told porkie pies in his election literature. I was going to pull you up on it but was unsure of the technicality of whether the Thirsk and Malton election counted as a by-election or not. You've lost me. Woolly Woolas was MP for Oldham and Saddleworth and having met him I'm not suprised by his actions. But back on message, have submitted my list based on potential to die due to age or lifestyle, resign due to proclivity for philandering or have a name that would make great headlines. Anyone else going to get on board?

    BB King

The people who have gone this year are those who have serious and dedicated fan bases Nimoy, Pratchett, King, Benaud even Simon to some degree. When are all the murderers, dictators and light entertainers going to go? Robert Mugabe and Jimmy Tarbuck walk into a bar..............
  12. rockhopper penguin

    BB King

I thought I might get through the year with no hits but am more gutted that BB was the first to go. When I compare him to some of the others on my DDP list it just goes to go the show the Universe does not care a jot.

    That UK Election Thing

Or there could be an actual education campaign where people are exposed to issues say, some people can't scrape by, some can't decide whether have a third home in Barbados or Monaco, and then asked if they feel this needs to be addressed. There are too many issues which don't fit neatly into a left/right paradigm and parties who have a curate's egg of policies eg the Greens who are good on wanting social justice but poor on wanting everyone to live in a cave to achieve

MP DP sounds great. Some of the old tories are really going to feel the strain when the whips put the screws on to keep turning up despite their age/infirmity. Bill Cash is 75 for mort's sake!

    That UK Election Thing

In a reverse of the way everyone over 60 in Liverpool says they went to school with John Lennon, we'll now find that no one will admit that they voted for the Tories.

No doubt about it. I saw Errol Brown on the same bill as Kevin Rowland down in Brighton a while back. One of the best gigs I had been to in a long while. I wonder if he really did believe in miracles. Believing in miracles isn't going to help now.

    That Portillo Moment

Not really. There is gonna be 50 odd SNP winning candidates. Chances are we've all argued with one of them at somepoint Just had a look at his Twitter, "argued with him on Bebo" is quite poss. just a euphemism for something...... well it probs is for others anyway. I realised the reason they don't call it the Scottish National Independence Party is cause it would make the witch's English castration fantasies even more obvious than they already are. The massive irony is that Mel Gibson bitterly hates the fact that Hollywood is run by left-wing gays, but now because of that stupid film England is about to be turned into a Haggis Republic by pigshit-thick Holyrood gays who think nuclear weapons are "so 80s darling" but gay-killing Halibuts (who will shortly be more nuclearly armed than we are) are just fine... As opposed to the Tories doing a deal with the ever so tolerant Democratic Unionists. PS don't think nuclearly is a word by the way PPS Pakistan is an Islamic state and has had nuclear weapons for over 30 years

Unfortunately current polling suggests Clegg will win again. Labour made the mistake of putting up a serious candidate so people thought about the issues and not Clegg himslef. if they'd have gone with an ass it would be romping home.

Think it's here: http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=3982&hl=%2Bthe+%2Broyal+%2Bfamily Not touched since 2006! Actually as the royals seem to be living forever I may add lots them to my DDP where I am now constructing an anti-death list ie they all survive!

In the spirit of being too lazy, do we have a thread on how long we think new royals will last?

Jack Ely with The Kingsmen of course. I've added his name as I didn't think to search on Louie Louie singer and if I hadn't spotted this I could have put it on the Dead on 2015 thread and that would have been embarrassing.

    The Dead Of 2015

I'll never forget that time he appeared on "Celebrity Pointless" with Orville. I don't think I've ever scrambled so hard and fast for the Sky remote, or did that "mash any and all buttons until something else appears" thing so ferociously. Apparently he collapsed doing his act but they had to wait 15 mins before pronouncing him dead as his lips were still moving.

    The Dead Of 2015

He wouldn't have been able to vote anyway, he's a lord! Interesting...maybe, maybe not. Dunno what his status was. http://lordsoftheblog.net/2008/05/07/can-peers-vote/ However, definitely not now, the dead can definitely not vote. I looked it up he he. Edit: Dang, just found the aristocrats thread, searched for it earlier and got nothing. Arg. This made me spend about ten minutes trying to find out what happens if you cast a postal vote and then die before the actual election day. Summary: nobody really knows. Interesting again...and also, with a blanket ban on prisoners voting, is it possible the whole election result could be de-legitimised by some form of legal challenge? He wasn't in the Lords so he could have voted. But nothing to stop someone going into a polling station in North Norfolk with their nose in the air stating 'one is Leicester and one wants to cast one's vote'.
