I believe the removal of Loretta Lynn from the deathlist will prove to be an error.

    The 8th Death of 2020

I went for Lester Piggott now that Honor has sadly removed herself from the list of possibilities. He has had heart trouble and is over 80.If he caught Covid-19" then his chances would not be great.

    20. Honor Blackman

Unless I am mistaken Honor Blackman is the first time I have correctly predicted who will be the next death in the thread poll. I've always liked Honor and found her to be a fascinating lady to watch or read in interviews as well as in her performing roles. Definitely a decent embodiment of pure sass. Rest in peace.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/11278434/queen-servant-tests-positive-coronavirus/ Concern as servant who comes regularly into contact with the Queen is diagnosed with coronavirus. Reported in the paper late last night and described as an exclusive, so I am not 100% clear if it is different from the palace worker revealed to have coronavirus in the post above mine.Especially as sometimes newspapers do not always speak strictly truthfully when they describe their stories as exclusives!
  17. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joan_Collins Genuinely surprised that the legendary Joan Collins doesn't have a thread of her own. A household name whose fame was iconic in the context of the 1980s thanks to her role as superbitch Alexis Colby /Carrington in American soap Dynasty. First went to Hollywood around 1950 and starred in well over fifty films and became part of the Hollywood social scene. Never quite became an a lister in terms of films like say Elizabeth Taylor or Shirley Maclaine but nevertheless is a big name in her own right and definitely needs her own space on here! Don't get me wrong if appearances are right she's got many more years left in her as she radiates vitality and being active. So much more to say but I can expand on all that in the thread.

    Loretta Lynn

Felt it was time that arguably one of the legendary Queens of Country and Western music singer Loretta Lynn who recently turned aged 85 had her own thread. Definitely one of the big name figures from this genre of music and she's still touring to this very day! Some random facts about Loretta She was a big supporter and friend of George Bush and his wife Barbara. Campaigned and sang for them when he stood for US President. But she apparently loathed Ronald Reagan and could not bring herself to like him. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loretta_Lynn Has been in the music business for nearly sixty years

    Loretta Lynn

Loretta Lynn hasn't tweeted in over a month, or nobody has tweeted on her behalf. That on its own isn't a red flag or cause for concern. However the fact nothing has been tweeted about the passing of Kenny Rogers does surprise and concern me.That is out of character and makes me believe that her own health is now rapidly in decline.
  23. I've got a very strong feeling and sense that 2020 is going to be a watershed, landmark end of an era kind of year as we embark upon a new decade. I think a lot of big or significant names will finally pass away next year. More so than in 2016 a year many highlight as being a big year for celebrity/famous deaths. Prince Philip, Vera Lynn, Kirk Douglas amongst the names I expect to fall next year as well as current and former world leaders like Mikhail Gorbachev, Jimmy Carter, Sultan of Oman etc More of the winning England 1966 football team as well sadly are likely. Anybody else got the feeling that 2020 in terms of not just the official deathlist but wider deadpooling or famous deaths is going to be an unusually big momentous year? PS Hope the crude metaphor does not offend!
