Along those lines, I liked to terrorize the Arabic community restaurants. Did you know there are totally different words in Halibut and Chaldean? I know, neither did I. For instance, and the one I use commonly, 'shawarma' (Chaldean) is 'gus' like the name in Halibut. No white Euro-descended person would know this at least when I was in Detroit. Thousand Foot Krutch is requesting prayer for bassist Joel Bruyere, who is in the hospital with a collapsed lung. The torn lung needs surgery, but the doctors are unable to perform surgery until the lung improves. In the meantime, Joel is in the hospital and fans are invited to pray for healing. Yeah, me too. But I usually just click on the threads I'm interested in (usually about 5) and after I'm done with that, I mark the rest as read. Also, back when I lived in Poland, I had this glitch that wouldn't allow me to access the forums for sometimes as much as 4-5 days! For some reason, it worked all the time at my grandparents' house, and I visited them almost every Saturday, so that's when I would catch up on the 100-150 unread threads. I think I'd have become a link on this page if I opened up DL and saw 150 unread threads. SC
