The pimpled obese friendless member dwelling in daddy’s basement strikes again with post-whoring thread reboots.  No it ISNT funny.  So that makes this list of members stupid cunts.  Noted by SirC and made conspicuous for all to see who our most cuntish members are (this list is by no means stagnant):

One thing I do hate about deadpooling is discovering artists like this I could have easily listened to. Usually a rapper dies and I post videos out of laughter.  I played this one and thought ‘wow’.

RIP ;btw sounds like she had a tough go at the end, waiting for organ transplants).

    13.    Qualifying obits? Every single English-language newspaper, magazine or significant website, provided that they are not automatically generated by AI. Also Le Monde, Le Figaro, Der Spiegel, Die Zeit, El Pais, El Mundo and Corriere Della Sera.

    Idiot

It’s a damn shame this game has been watered down to a pile of shit then.  I’ll accept being an idiot who thinks the basic rule when this game began ‘any English language obit’ was all that was needed without kowtowing to utter horseshit.

Charlie Bird is a hit here. Eric Dornfeld (typo'd by me in my entry as Dornfield) will be if he gets a QO, having died last night.

How the hell did Dornfeld pass the fame test?  (Yes I’m only just looking at the names as I research for April).  Honestly, can someone PahLEEEZ run this thing without allowing people who coach a group of 13 year old footballers in Africa, or in this case any one of a thousand college hockey players?

  5. This band was a friend of mine/my band on MySpace way back when, but the death of that platform pre-YouTube and they became a mere memory.  So tonight I tried once again to try to remember their name or songs/album that I enjoyed so much back around 2006-07.  But how do you search when you have nothing to go by other than they were from Vancouver/Victoria BC?  Perseverance paid off!  I finally found them an hour ago!  One of the great pieces of album art of all time if nothing else.

"Deteriorating Health" is a good search term.  In my experience African media seem to use it as a euphemism for "about to drop dead", hence me including our man Kabobo when I saw this at the end of February.

Except that term isn’t in this story.  That said I saw a few others posted the following day that could have been discovered.  Well done!

  7. Relatively big news locally in The D.

Police in Florida have been trying to locate Detroit Lions cornerback Cameron Sutton for two weeks, according to ESPN.

An arrest warrant has been issued for the NFL star in Florida, with the cornerback wanted by police on a domestic violence charge.

He was an important starter for the Lions and is owed a guaranteed $10M for 2024.  The Lions released him two days ago and will be asking the league to waive the salary on code of conduct grounds.

More importantly, how the hell can anyone be off the grid for two weeks (when being actively sought) and the fears are he has been dead from suicide.  In any case. a big story as it develops day by day.  Sutton sounds like a real POS so has what’s coming to him either way.

I'm conflicted hosting such a time-sensitive pool like the Cup but also giving notable deadpooling news that could affect the competition.

But I decided to post it, because I accidentally found it while looking for my ABC pool prospects (and also, I geniunely like to post the news, like I often do).

Journalist/Ice cream author Amy Ettinger is now in hospice:

She's also a DDP pick, and I am interested if she gets more than her WashPost coverage.

FTR don’t worry about Cup play, post what you need to post. It’s not like it’s the 30th, in which case I may have a different response.

I hadn't heard of her until I got the obit notification. Seems like she did some important stuff back in the day.

No none has ever heard of 95% of the obits posted until they’re posted.

In an attempt to learn from others, here is the original Facebook post (embedded) about KKKs liver condition.  There isn’t a single search term that anyone would use to find this.  I would chalk it up to dumb luck but not when @DevonDeathTrip is involved.  What the hell — do you have time to search every known ailment?  Who the hell searches ‘liver disease’ or any non cancer specific disease — not that it matters, she never said liver disease, only ‘battling a liver problem’.  Even if you searched ‘liver disease’ this wouldn’t pop up.  I want to know how you found this.

  16. One of the last reminders of Midtown NY’s famed Music Row is about to play its final riff. Musicians across the city are in mourning at the news that the legendary Sam Ash Music retail store on W34th Street plans to close its doors after a century in business.

The professional instrument and equipment company, founded in 1924 and still operated by the Ash family four generations later, has posted signs announcing the location’s closure
