Maybe I should add they should be verified oldest people - claimants have doubt about their qualification and are not notable for this competition.

From the rules: "For the avoidance of doubt, someone who famous simply for their longevity is included, but they must still obviously garner a qualifying obit." So yes, in general I'll allow supercentenarians (110+) as of right, but centenarians must normally have some notability. So if the oldest person in Iceland is 108, they are notable for that, but not the second oldest who is say, 107 unless they are for example a chess champion, or Stalin's cinematographer or summat. I'd remind you that DDP rules are in force for QO's, so even the oldest person in Iceland might not get a qualifying obit - so it's a risk. See Barys Kit.
