I thought people might have been all over this one but I have searched and not seen it mentioned

Zoe Ball is absent from her Radio 2 Breakfast show as her mother (who divorced her Dad when she was 2) has been diagnosed with cancer

Unlikely to get a direct obituary but might get some coverage

Zoe Ball's mother Julia has died: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-13343937/Zoe-Ball-son-Woody-Cook-tribute-Granny-pancreatic-cancer.html

Playing catch up after almost a month away.

Glynis Johns received votes from me and the Committee, however Beckenbauer scored for the opposition without reply and Draper was just not Deathlisty enough for me to pick him - but the Committee did!

    YW - 1; DL - 3.

I'll be Frank, I expected the Committee to pick Frank Field, but they didn't and I did, which allows a small measure of catch up. Like Labour for the past 14 years however, I'm still lagging behind the big party.

    YW - 2; DL - 3.

    Dead at 81.

Telegraph obit, and just got a BBC Breaking News notification.

Long time coming. Two mahoosive hits on my main team - woo!

Anyway, I almost always seemed to have time for the guy, unlike most MPs. RIP.

  5. Also had a look at the comments section under Shakin' All Over for Johnny Kidd & The Pirates.

Johnny Gordon seems to have at some point resided at Denmead in Hampshire and died around 2000/2001 from cancer. It's the first comment and the replies from an Ian Hurley. That might be of some help, @Ulitzer95?

Edit: Further research indicates a home studio run by said Johnny Gordon at The Bungalow, Denmead - definitely dead according to the comments here: https://pompeypop.wordpress.com/2011/07/13/in-the-studio/

  7. Right, I'm going to slot this here just because there is so little information.

Obituary for Jennifer Grainer-Ackerman (nee Dodd), sometime actress and backing singer for Cliff Richard: https://www.theportugalnews.com/news/2024-04-18/obituary-jennifer-marilyn-ackerman-grainer-november-1944-april-2024/88013

She married Ron Grainer, yes the Doctor Who theme guy, on whose Wiki she is currently referred to on her maiden name as "Dodds" which isn't right - maybe @Ulitzer95 is the guy to fix that.  Picture of the couple on their wedding day here: https://www.gettyimages.co.uk/detail/news-photo/australian-composer-ron-grainer-marries-actress-jennifer-news-photo/1299341532

I can find an uncredited role for a Jennifer Dodd in Lolita, I wonder if it is the same person. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1860334/

He seemed absolutely fine on stage a few weeks ago. I wasn't aware he was ill. Nonetheless, he was in his 60s and drank most nights like there's no tomorrow. All catches up with you I guess.

Claimed 54 as age in this clip from Sky News.

Clip says it is from last year, though Maisie was around 2021/2022, so I'm guessing  didn't even make 60.
