Talk of Pointless Celebrities got me thinking again of Henry Kelly.
Lo and behold it was his birthday yesterday. Came across this interview bearing to be from the end of March: https://www.distinctnostalgia.com/posts/ep-8-going-for-gold-memories-with-80s90s-quiz-show-king-henry-kelly
Still the wobbly voice but sounded pretty strong actually.

You have to admire the Tories.
They manage to collect swindlers, fraudsters, corrupt bastards and sexual deviants like I collect commemorative 50p and 2 pound coins.

Typical DL Forum as we end up discussing the tallest man on telly in the Munchkins thread!
Anyhow, Osman is on the list of the things that I will not miss if he disappeared tomorrow. And in today's telly that's becoming a long long list! (See Joe Lycett's dreadful Friday Night show). I find most of them of little talent and therefore of little interest to me.
Of course, I could just be a grumpy old man.

I try and avoid Pointless Celebrities now.
I've discovered a disliking for that Richard Osman. Yes, he says he is waving goodbye to Pointless but somehow he still manages to turn up for the celebrity edition. He has become one of those people who seems to think that shows involving punters are beneath him, preferring everything celebrity based. That House of Games is a rancid little show.
Maybe if only celebrities bought his poxy second rate books, he might have second thoughts.
Now I could be wrong, but you never see him without a group of celebrities.

On a lighter note, despite looking old around 4 years ago on Pointless Celebrities, we know that Kiran Shah is still kicking, sending his condolences:

Samantha Davis played a Gringotts Goblin in The Deathly Hallows Part 2.
I'm assuming one of those briefly appearing who were counting the money and later didn't survive the dragon's escape from Gringotts.

They’re dying in order. All eyes on Chubby.Chubby recently retired. He had a spell of ill health a couple of years ago which led to him appearing on my TOTP team. Certainly favourite to go next.

He's 5 foot 4 (whatever that means). His attacker was 6ft. He could have gone for the nads, granted, but he used a leg sweep which frightened the mugger off.

Wow.
Never knew someone would try that. Seems a bit strange, what did they hope to achieve, I wonder? The death of Juan Carlos perhaps?
