He was in full blown Narcissist mode at the CIA today; cracking gags about invading Iran and stealing their oil, telling them the press are all liars not to be trusted and the press are the enemy - telling the bloody CIA that American press are the enemy! He's still fighting the campaign and talking to them like they were lil' old Trumpsters and boasting he thought most of them voted for him. Wouldn't mind betting all the little CIA goons will be waking up in hot sweats tonight wondering what's treason and what's not. Paddy Power is offering 7/4 on Trump not making it to the full term. On top of that, the White House press conference today was 15 mins of the press secretary ripping the press to shreds. It's been 24 hours, fellas, and Fox News are even saying the wheels are coming off already. lol

He had another good go at that today it seems. lol

In recent times, only George W Bush who lost the popular vote to Al Gore and the margin was a lot smaller than Trump/Clinton. You have to go back over 100 years to the previous ones.

I thought that speech was truly dreadful. Lots of rambling nonsense. I thought those troops were coming to take the mic off him.

Kensington Palace has announced William and Kate are to move to the Palace now full time. William is giving up his career as a rescue pilot and will take up full time Royal duties. George will start school in London and Charlotte will go to a London nursery. Yet more shrinking of the Queen's schedule as younger Royals take things over.

Update on Bush from his press secretary... Stable in ICU, team going to attempt extubation tomorrow. Mrs Bush seems to be much improved. Despite the upbeat tone of the update, I still view this as a concern because he's been intubated for over 24 hours now and this is a major thing to overcome for a man as weak as he is.

Luckily he did get Michael Flatley in the end because I think Stavros Flatley turned it down as well.

I am willing to believe in any scenario put forward at this point up to and including the LibDems forming the next Government. Just heard the news Seumas Milne is officially quitting the Grauniad to become permanent advisor to Corbyn too, so the Labour rot has well and truly become entrenched for a generation IMHO. What a Carry-On! lol

Yep, learned with shock that Twitter is decidedly left wing in nature. Realised that after the last general election. As for 'Momentum'... think they are slowly collapsing anyway from what I hear. It's all internal power struggles. Much the same for UKIP. Hard to see how things are going to emerge in the middle future, frankly.

I've certainly heard it said people wait to die until they are on their own. But I do question just how much he is aware of the outside world or even things like the time of day. I've sat in a few ICUs in my time and the thing that caught me was there is no difference between daytime and night time. It's all tubes, cables and flashing and beeping 24 hours a day.

Mystery solved by the sounds of it.... everyone's time zone is different. I think the thing to look at is time lapsed since the tweet was sent. I still think she's only just found out an hour ago. Which is plausible if she's just got off a plane! But even so, she should not be 'breaking' news that might be new to her but everyone else has known for hours. I'll let her off this once. lol

I'm looking at a time stamp that says 2:54pm - consistent with her time slot on Sky News. Not seeing what you're seeing.... I'm very definitely seeing 10.54pm, Tweet sent 53mins ago.

Kay Burley appears to be 'breaking' news that's 6 hours old. Looks like she just found out herself and didn't realise the rest of us already know. lol No new updates from Bush's press secretary's account so nothing changed as far as I can tell.

I'd say a stay is a forlorn hope as even SCOTUS has turned him down I gather. And it tickles me that Virginia offers them a choice between chemicals or electric chair. How very benevolent of them! That must be such a comfort. lol

Just seen that George Junior still plans on going to the Inauguration despite the facts that both parents are in hospital and certainly one at least fighting for life. Well, I take a dim view of that!

Reading the original statement issued by Bush Snr's own press secretary, it sounds like he is intubated rather than tracheotomised, in which case he will be in a medically induced coma I would think. So yes, not nothing even a strong 92 year old walks away from easily.
