For whatever reason he reminds me of Strom Thurmond in that photo, but maybe that’s just me

Obviously I don’t play anymore, but one of my biggest shock moments was is the lead up in the 2018 pool where I decided to throw on Fu Da-ren as a replacement pick because I was curious. And was completely stunned when he was an acceptable pick.

This doesn’t need to turn into a dumping ground for random celebs.

I think there’s a chance that my team might be leading right now in the DDP with Draper joker and Beckenbauer and I wasn’t even trying lmao

Glynis and Draper didn’t make it to their birthday this year yet they’re listed as the year they would’ve turned have they lived

The topic of seeing which members of music groups are still alive and which bands are completely dead has been discussed a lot on the forums, but as far as I can tell, there was never a thread for this topic. So I made a topic on this discussion. Obviously it isn’t as clear as film casts, as bands often have many lineup changes within their career, so it might be better at this point to look at different lineups. For example, all four Ramones who appeared on their debut (and most acclaimed album) is dead, but Marky Ramone, who replaces Tommy in their later albums, is still alive. That said, some classic lineups can be safely considered dead, like the previously mentioned Ramones, Jimi Hendrix Experience, and Motörhead. There are also groups who are almost all dead, like The Bee Gees, Cream, and Emerson, Lake and Palmer. So, what bands/band lineups can we safely consider to be deceased? I think it’d be interesting to discuss...

After the death of Fidel Castro, his brother, and current president of Cuba, Raul Castro, probably doesn't have that long in him (about 3-5 years I'm guessing). I think he is famous enough for his own thread, because he is the last major figure in the Cuban Revolution and he is the president of Cuba. All of that, plus being related to Fidel Castro, pretty much guarantees a BBC obit. Do you think he is famous enough for deathlist? Discuss.

Won’t let me win but I think Jeffrey Foskett takes me to third

Nah it was a hit and a miss. They used to report misses of the list publicly but not anymore

The ignorance of this forum is really showing today huh?

After that Draper detour since it was clear he was on his way out it’s back to status quo with Carter

BBC obit

Quick timing for 6 people

I mean I certainly wouldn’t wish Draper to be in the state he has been for almost the past 4 years being as ill as he is but yeah he seems to be a massive scumbag

Pretty sure it happened at least three times. Deng Xiaoping, Lou Rawls, and Etta James were the first hits and all were on top of the list when they died

Was this an actual thing circa 2010
Joey Russ replied to TylerTheCreator's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
That was definitely a thing in middle school (circa 2013/2014 for me) and frankly the less I remember it the better -
Alt obits actually doesn’t close till midway through the month, where stuff like youngest hit of the year gets awarded, so a bit early to officially congratulate him imo
