Eh. I'd bet on the older guy, but obesity chops a few years off Trump's remaining life expectancy, making it pretty much a wash. Stresses of the job won't help Biden, but stress of losing won't help Trump. Trump certainly seems the less steady on his feet of the two, and mobility is a key proxy for frailty in the elderly. Might put my bet on Trump by a nose, but both probably have at least a decade in them yet.

The case totals seem to be peaking, without any appreciable rise over the last 10 days or so. Deaths tend to lag case totals by about a fortnight, so hopefully we should see the deaths peak over the next couple of weeks. And then after that we may hopefully start to see an effect of the lockdown on the death totals, which should fall steadily over the second half of November (assuming that a lockdown without closing schools is still effective). Then the question will come of when in December to reopen the country again. Probably the gvt will be pressure from retailers to make it earlier rather than later...

I'm in a similar boat. I mainly picked my film to be thematic (even though I couldn't think of anything quite as thematic as The Seventh Seal with an even vaguely appropriate cast), and although the names should definitely obit when they eventually go, there's very little chance of them all dying off any time soon.

King adrian0719's reign comes to an end as he comes tumbling down the stairs. There's blood all over the place - somehow he seems to have tripped on the top step and slit his own throat. All hail King alt obits guy!

Update to this with our 15th death: 62 days left in the year, average of one death every 20.7 days needed to get a new record. Seems unlikely, but winter ❄️ mortality plus second wave of COVID means probably not that unlikely. Oh, and the "total years on Death List of those that have died in the year" record is now thoroughly broken with a full two winter months to go.
