From R&D FC twitter
AFC Rushden & Diamonds (@AFCRD) / Twitter
I support a non-league team and when Griggs took over he merged Rushden Town and Irthingborough Diamonds. He then bankrolled a meteoric rise through the pyramid and in a sense he was to blame (in my view) for a number of clubs throwing money around they didn't have in order to try to keep up with R&D.
A number of clubs in non-league went full-time as a result and since then we've seen a number of clubs endure boom and bust times. My own view is that this is a bad thing, but times have changed forever.
R&D then spent many years being a tenant of various clubs after they were locked out of their own ground which was subsequently flattened.

A difficult question to answer, but I guess the highest Test run scorer in history , or, pinching inspiration from LFN, the most prolific porn star in history with the biggest cock on record into the bargain.

Having been laid low with Covid, I am coming to this very late. I'll have a guess at
Switzerland 0 Spain 2
Italy 2 Belgium 1
I'm aiming not to finish bottom of the pile if I am permitted to enter!

Alan igglesden hasn't got long left unfortunately. He was wheeled out to play against the Aussies in the late 80s after every other English fast bowler either got injured or dropped after being smacked to all parts.
In cruel twist, one of his team mates at Kent, Richard Davis, succumbed to a brain tumour at a relatively young age some years ago.

The FBI are now like “Oh right, is he doing interviews now?”Having watched, and cringed most of the time, if I were his legal advisors I'd be thing him to keep his gob shut and avoid cameras in future. Gems like "his death was a miracle " made it quite a bizarre and at times , stilted, interview.

It transpires that the ECB has requested that all recreational cricket next Saturday is paused between 3pm and 4pm.
Really good idea given that covid restrictions mean that players cannot go into changing rooms or clubhouses during the break.
Spending an hour in the car looking miserable is the only option!

Oh to be a fly on the wall at the wake when everyone is chomping on sausage rolls and other Iceland (the store , for our overseas friends) specialities whilst looking awkwardly at the ground.

Apparently the Beeb have set up a complaint form because they've had so much shit over their decision to replace Bake Off and the rest of the schedule with the wall to wall coverage we saw last night and this morning. Luckily for me, I've been able to watch cricket all day. Happy days!
