Bonetti was said to have advanced Alzheimer`s last summer.
Peters was still fit enough to attend the Celebration Dinner, whereas our Nobby - my nap of 2017 - was nowhere to be seen.Around July when the press did the usual - whatever happened to - round up of the World Cup winners Stiles was reckoned to be very ill then. Though Martin Peters - apparently - was in the worst condition of the nine left alive.
I thought Peters was pulled out of all the 50th anniversairy events as were Stiles Wilson Greaves and Bonetti?
Oops...I stand corrected. Peters attended the gala final WHU match at Upton Park a few weeks earlier.
Bonetti is a surprise...much younger than the others and never headed the ball.
I've seen Bonetti in the last couple of months and he looked reasonably well. a long shot for 2017 I'd say

Victor Lownes, Chief Exec of Playboy back in the day, has died according to the BBC

You obviously didn't watch the game!
Well with this game that is a distinct possibility.
He may die of boredom.
That won't happen, Plymouth have hardly ventured out of the Liverpool half, Liverpool will win it in the 90th minute. Ian St. John looks to have aged recently but for a man approaching 80 and who has had Cancer he doesn't look that bad.Currently sat at Anfield next to Tarby. Looks OK, but of course might have a stroke if Plymouth score.
Spurs v Villa is on at 4pm though, which should be more interesting.
I've just woken up from the Spurs v Villa game. the magic of the cup eh?
You been in a coma?

I thought she was a big miss by the committee. 105 years old and the first to break the story of World War 2 starting - thats impressive! RIP
Yes, the committee missed a trick there!
...but I didnt!

I've just watched the Bowie documentary on BBC 2 . The guy was a genius IMHO.

The guy doesn't appear to ge wearing protective headgear. Nothhing is ever risk free, but I would have thought that head protection would be compulsory, especially in these days when if there is blame there is a claim.

Belated congratulations!

Happy New Year to everyone from Staffordshire. I'm off to get slaughtered (not literally). Have a good one

Did he not used to put his wife in place? Or was that Stan Collymore? I get them mixed up
Don't feed the troll.....................He was a great man, he was a great fan of zimbabwean cricket RIP
What are you on about. He's not dead yet.
Easy to get mixed up as they are both so alike!

Boycott is as cantankerous as ever so I think he would be a very long shot. He's lining himself up to be England's next batting coach so I'm sure he plans to hang around until he has had chance to put the whole squad right on a few things.

What a a stupid question. If the Queen dies before the D of E, will the the D of E be known as The King Father?
No. Because he has never been a King.
Indeed.
Why do you think he would no longer be known as Prince Philip or the Duke of Edinburgh?
We could call him the King Father and try and start a popular movement - Paul Weller is The Modfather after all
...and Captain Birdseye was the Codfather

His post mortem has come back as 'inconclusive'

Seriously there is only so many more times he can do this before it kills him. look at Amy winehouse in the end one drink too many and she was 22 years younger than gazza. He is on borrowed time.
Yes, but she wasn't a professional athlete
Gazaa doesn't look like one in that picture

Totally random and extremely unlikely, but if I were George North I'd be hanging up my boots right now. if he gets another big hit (a big 'if') during a game he could have problems.
Whatever happens he is going to have a difficult time when he is in middle age
