Fuck me! That’s the biggest proper shocker in quite a while. A shame. As an aside, @Gooseberry Crumble has it absolutely nailed on to the letter.
  2. I'd never seen that before, just the pic on Twitter somewhere...it's genius!
  3. This list of recorded causes of death in London, 1632, makes for an interesting read: ‘Planet’ is a personal highlight, as well as ‘sciatica’ and ‘bit with a mad dog’.

    Guess The Song

Well, you've knocked that one out of the park! This is a live version of it, Glasto '02: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTalAdaXEzc

    Guess The Song

I didn't know that, but quite by accident it was an excellent clue Yes. So I've been trying to think of something different, so not yet another rock number from the 90's...so it's a rock song from the 00's, with a guest drummer from another two massive bands. Oddly, if nobody can get the answer, that's a bit of a clue.

Pffffft...I've got knob all idea about anything metal, but based on these two clues, did some metalist do a cover of LL Cool J's Mama Said Knock You Out?
  7. Snip, snip, out it goes; Thornberry falls short by 2 CLPs. Ballot, with Starmer, Wrong-Daily and Nandy on it, opens in 9 days. Starmer's the bookies' favourite by an enormous margin.

    Prince Philip Duke Of Edinburgh

Prince Philip could “allegedly” pass away in 5 years. Fuck me. Stunning bit of journalism.

    American Metal? Not a chance.
  10. Brexiter loses his shit over one of the consequences of Brexit. The state of this prick.
  11. Now this is a fucking Bond theme!

    James Bond 007 (Connery/Moore/Villains etc)

Just listened. It’s alright. Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t all that sorry when it stopped, but I’ve certainly heard worse; Adele’s ‘Scaffold’ and Sam Smith’s whinging effort, the name of which escapes me, for starters.
  13. Still, at least we’ve got Priti Patel staying in her job as Home Secretary. A highlight of her glistening career:
  14. At least he’s done one good thing in his political career, then.
  15. I agree. Sanders should win the campaign; it's certainly his to lose now. But I think he'll manage it. In recent history, the left-wing candidate appears to struggle in most countries. Even if Sanders did get the nomination, he'd probably do a Corbyn in the November election. As for Buttygag, his performance thus far has been pretty impressive (in terms of numbers, not politics). He could well be the surprise candidate.

    Guess The Song

Shit, I forgot this was still going! Yaaaas. From Gran Turismo, the 'real driving simulator' back in the mists of 2001, here's one of Feeder's finest:
  17. Biden and Warren have been delivered an arse kicking, it appears. BBC article comments on how it was a good night for Sanders, Buttigieg and Klobuchar (and Yang, weirdly).
  18. Serious? He looks like a pessimistic alien has moulded some mechanically recovered meat into what it thinks a human might look like.
  19. Remember Rory Stewart? Off of Tory Leadership hopefuls. This is what the nutty bastard is doing now. Satire is dead.

Toastie will fuck you up if you carry that on
  22. Yep. The title track is alright, Stab You In The Heart raised a smile, the rest were just downright irritating.

    John McCain

If you check out his thread, you'll find a lot of us wondering the same thing.
  24. He's in The Monkees, isn't he?
