  1. Oh what a surprise to get such a cunty take from Isabellend Oakeshitt, the readiness to fuck over a couple of million people because you know someone who knows someone who knows someone who knows someone whose weird uncle Nigel posted on Facebook about someone down his mate's road claiming disability benefits despite being able to walk around without dropping dead, and who lives a comfortable and lavish life on their £100 or less a week. Cunts.
  2. Awesome work, and I’m definitely going to refer to him as ‘this jiggling tit’ from now on
  3. That's exactly why I find the games where my knowledge is patchier (60s) just as enjoyable as the eras I love the most (90s) or grew up with (00s). Sometimes you find a few gems you weren't previously aware of, and even if you don't, it's interesting, it's an education, and it doesn't take long to do a little skim of them on YouTube.

    Political Frailty

My understanding was that was just South Korea and a couple of south-east Asian countries, but I’m happy to be corrected on this.

Very odd given that Nov 1930 - Apr 2024 makes him 93.
  6. 15 players is great but I'd love to see more. Yes, this is an appeal to the many people who read but don't play It's clear, though, that the 70s-90s games are the most popular (aside from Christmas; that was popping). Question is, is that for familiarity/demographic reasons or is it simply that music was just more appealing during those times?

If he disagrees, he can rectify that in his next scoring.

Okay, fair play, I enjoyed reading that twattery, that was funny

You've been a member for about a year and a half, and for there or thereabouts a year and a half of that, you've been a twat.
  14. Penny is a) vile, b) ridiculous, and c) probably going to lose her seat. But that's okay, she's already sorted out her post-parliamentary career:
  15. My favourite stat about Liz Truss is that her net approval rating in the UK when she left office was -83%, which was at the time 4% worse than Vladimir Putin's.

Shit! Who’s going to save the fucking West now?!

Ah, I forgot I hadn't put him on my newly-founded 'ignore' list! Just in case he pops up in any other threads, like. Up to 6 now, it's doing well.
  18. Seems to be a new one of these every week:
  19. Possibly, though imo it’s perfectly good even with Crookers. I think some of the downvotes are coming from those who want to end the round as quickly as possible (against the spirit of the game but it happens)
  20. Thing is, you look at the definite seat-holders - Braverman, Hayes, Truss, plenty of that ilk. Are they the foundations on which to build a party that’ll be electable again in 10 years? Are they fuck. The only way the Tories become remotely credible again is if they detoxify themselves to pre-Brexit standards.
  21. Absolutely, it's well documented how much of a shock 1992 was and how the Tories just seemed tired by the end of it. Was there ever a real prospect, as there is now with scandal after scandal and shocking poll after shocking poll, of 1997 being a genuine existential threat to the Tories?
  22. A question to anyone tuned in to politics in the 90s: how woeful did it all look for Major in his last couple of years? Did his electoral prospects look anything like as bad as they are now for Sunak? Was anyone still singing his praises? Just trying to gauge whether comparisons to 1997 are about right or whether they're an over/underestimation.
  23. Ipsos are yet another pollster to see the Tories sink under 20%. In 45 years of Ipsos surveys, that's the lowest the Tories have ever polled with them. The now second-lowest is last month. Ninja'd by the DCI but it's worth looking at twice because it's quite funny.
