One of those celebs who I didn't know were still alive, I only looked him up the other day after hearing a mention of him on the radio and thinking 'surely he's already dead'.... Is there any charity shop vinyl section anywhere in the UK that doesn't have at least one Des O'Conner album in it?

Fats your lot.... For me, he's one of those people I had down as "died years ago" as his heyday was so long ago.... and I was most surprised to hear he was still kicking, up until today that is.
