Even if it works at first, going through chemo makes it almost certain that the cancer will come back at some point, and more aggressive than before. The pharmaceutical industry loves it.

Going to be optimistic and pick Bush Sr.

But they weren't on the list at the same time -
Found two obits from 2011 for someone named Ernst-August Pistor. Pretty sure it's the same guy - born in 1920, was held by the Americans for two years after the war... http://www.rdm-berlin-brandenburg.de/aktuelles/archiv/details.html?tx_news_pi1[news]=391&cHash=0f1d978feed8d138a25fed1f6adafabb http://www.bz-berlin.de/artikel-archiv/ein-wahrhaft-erfuelltes-leben-fuer-unsere-stadt

WW3 won't start because of Russia\America\China. It will probably be some random country like Lebanon or the Philippines. -

Dan Quayle wanted to say goodbye http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/george-hw-bush-reunites-with-dan-quayle/article/2629751

Bush will die by the end of 2017. McCain will last until May 2018.

Why does it have to be one of the few sane Republicans left? It will never be a Mitch McConnell type of politician.
-
Agreed. Same goes for Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell. At least Trump is providing plenty of entertainment.

Of course it can still be sad. 100 years may seem like a long time compared to others, but it probably passes much more quickly than we realize. Saying goodbye to someone you care about is always going to hurt. What I mean to say is that we all have to face the inevitable someday, and under these circumstances they got a happy ending. Finding someone who will love you early on and growing old with them is really the most we can ever hope for. Doesn't mean that it doesn't suck when it ends.
-
Most people don't get 70 or even 50 or 40 years with someone they love. So it doesn't seem sad at all to me. I mean, the guy won't have to live too long without her. It's simply their time to go.

He won't make it to Christmas/Hanukkah...

She was a woman actually... From my understanding, that interview was filmed in either 1999 or 2000. It was discussed in this forum back in 2004 - https://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?t=19001&start=30 And the famous "did I make a mistake?" question was quoted in this article from 2005 http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/nazi-she-devils-566055 So it's safe to say this interview couldn't have been recorded later. The person who added the "2009" on that footage clearly made a mistake.

Herta Bothe is dead according to the German wiki and the Russian one, but there seems to be a disagreement on the year https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hertha_Bothe https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Боте,_Герта
