Half the girls in my class at school were shagging like rabbits at 14 and 15.    It's normal, always has been, always will be.

Well, I didn't understand that you were on about dead people.  When you said EJ had survived "younger singers" I thought you were on topic and referring to survival in the current competition.

I've no idea why you wanted to bring dead celebrities into it. And what joke?  There wasn't anything funny about it, whichever way it was taken.

Austrian A-list actress Christiane Hörbiger has died at age 84.

Her acting career in theatre, film and television began in 1955 and has spanned over 130 film and television productions.

This is a big one in the German speaking countries!

    https://kurier.at/kultur/schauspielerin-christiane-hoerbiger-ist-tot/402243030

Her sisters Elisabeth Orth (1936) and Maresa Hörbiger (1945) are still alive.

A couple of days ago, I wanted to suggest her name for next year's list, but dismissed the idea because she looked like a spring chicken compared to all those nonagenarians & centenarians on these lists...

At least they're real updates though, unlike Daily Fail click bait which just reports the same thing every week i.e. "oh look he's still alive".

At least the Daily Mail offers photos and videos, instead of asking for alms after every article, like the Guardian.

The Russians ought to display David Bowie's confiscated stash of Nazi Memorabilia in a glass cabinet and turn it into a shrine for his devoted fans.

Starman & Life of Mars are beautiful songs - because the melodies were stolen from "Over the Rainbow" & "My Way".

  13. A pitful sight.

She gave up wheat, eggs, meat & dairy and spent years of he life in the gym, probably wanting to impress younger people with her looks & fitness.

But she listened to the wrong advisors/agents/managers and her plan was brought to nought.

Does she even realize, that many fast-food-eating couch potatoes are laughing at her?

My french shadowlist is a nightmare to prepare. So many household names that i would like to include but not enough places. There is so many old and frail old french people famous enough to be on the list. That’s so frustrating

Gabriel Matzneff ought to be on the French list. The French Jeffrey Epstein. Old, lonely, ostracized...

    Gabriel Matzneff — Wikipédia (wikipedia.org)

And now, that the last great generation of French actors (Depardieu, Auteuil) are over seventy and work less, one has to pay more attention to the health of Fabrice Luchini, Vincent Lindon, Didier Bourdon, Thierry Lhermitte etc.

Some of the best actors of the 21the Century. I will be very sad if something happens to them.

  16.  I think, that the most important name that ought to be included in the 2023 deathlist is Leontyne Price (1927). The most famous surviving diva from the golden age of opera. She made recordings at a time when Maria Callas, Renata Tebaldi & Joan Sutherland were her only rivals.

    Screensho1001-996x675.jpg

Sutherland's widower, Richard Bonynge (1930) is still alive.

    So is Renata Scotto (1934)...

    Sherrill Milnes (1935)...

and Zubin Mehta (1936), who is still conducting:

Renato Bruson (1936) seems to be in good health. Domingo & Carreras are still singing, too.
