Update on Nick Berry. He alludes to time running out. Not immediately perhaps, but he wants to use up his air miles ASAP.

Still over a week to go, so this may yet all end up being moot. I suppose as an exercise it's all good, but I'm hoping there will be solid conclusion one way or the other. Nobody wants to win on a technicality.

Yep, you are right. I did that with Gray in the pay pools that started later, but I struggled mightily with my choices esrlier this year with so many possibilities, figuring that if I didn't take them now, they would be unavailable later. I also thought there was a real chance they would both die in January, before the February bonus kicked in. Regardless, it has sure made it interesting, and I have some ground to make up.

There are no concerns about QO for Henry Gray here. He puts Haben in the lead over Chorizo, who like many of us dismissed him as a sure thing, but only a 5 pointer. He gets 50 bonus points for the Black History bonus for February, though, for a decent hit after all.

I've not heard it your way, but that makes sense now you say it. But I guess it's a regional thing. Definitely tits on a board out here, which makes sense too, just in a different way.

Ms. Smith is certainly terminal, but I'm not so sure that she is on her last legs, based on that article. I'm a sucker for the words 'entering palliative care'. Should she survive the month, she will likely be a popular pick for the next round, and the one after that, and so on.
